How it Started
I love to knit. One day I was in need of a project bag for knitting, so I decided to make my own. I found that I really like the process and Ginger Root bags was born!
Since then I have branched out to a few different kinds of bags. For example I started using cork that I had received from my uncle to sew bags, and this eventually evolved into the drawstring bags with cork handles.
I really love everything about making bags, from choosing fabrics to ironing out the finished product. I am so thankful to everyone for supporting my little business, it has been an amazing journey!
About the Name
I really love ginger. Ginger tea, ginger candy, if it has ginger in it, then I’ll probably love it. I was thinking about what to name my bags and thought that ginger root bags would make a pretty cool name!
