I create handmade and silver jewelry from my home in the heart of Cajun country. Silver work is created completely by me, from sterling sheet, sterling silver wire and fine silver, sometimes other metals such as copper and brass. After a design is decided upon, it is cut using a jeweler's saw, filed, various methods used to embellish and decorate. and soldered using a torch. If a stone is to be used, care is taken to protect it and it is set using a bezel pusher, burnisher and other methods. Various finishing techniques are used to apply a patina and polish to desired finish. Occasionally, I will use items that have been cast from silver but will state that in the description, as I don't cast at the time.

Everything is crafted with pride and made from the finest materials available.

All ear wires are handmade by me and from sterling silver, Argentium or niobium, all hypoallergenic materials. If I have post earrings for sale, they've been handmade by me using sterling silver wire, and a soldering technique has been used.
All ear wires have been finished by hand and free of burs for the most comfortable wear.
I don't use purchased ear wires.

For some of the fabric jewelry I make, I use a lot of recycled silk sari ribbon, The frayed appearance of the edges is normal and adds to the rustic appeal.
Silk sari ribbon is made from the fair-trade factory leftovers from making saris. Most of these factories are in India. Rather than throw the leftover fabric away, the workers are allowed to take it and cut it into strips, stitch them together and make ribbon to sell, to supplement their wages.
