Hi and welcome! I'm Danielle, Owner, Designer and general factotum behind Glam And Co Jewellery.
I was born to work with my hands and have an absolute passion for making unique and personalized jewellery for men, women, children and babies. I am inspired by simplicity and life in general. Inspirational or motivational quotations can have a big impact on someone's life so I wanted to make beautiful jewellery that could serve as a great accessory but also as a reminder of what is important to that person.
My jewellery has the power to create moods and provoke thoughts and reactions and I love that it can do that! Not only does it add a beautiful stylish and sophisticated touch to an outfit but it can make a much more profound statement. Every single piece of personalized jewellery I create has its own story to tell.
Giving a gift of jewellery is nice but giving a gift of jewellery with a personal message is so much more special. I love to hide the message too making it a secret, something shared between only you and a loved one, like a soft little whisper in their ear each time they wear it. Nothing can be more special than that and it will be cherished forever.
My favorite material to work with is sterling silver but I also enjoy mixing metals such as brass and copper as this adds a little color and variation. I also love colors that scream joy at you so occasionally you'll see a gorgeous bright splash of color that will brighten anyone's day.

As per Etsys terms and conditions no refunds will be given on handmade and personalised items. Each order is made to order, and can only be cancelled within 24 hours of ordering. There is an option at checkout to upgrade your shipping to express, this will then make your order trackable and will insure the package, if you do not upgrade to this option in either the UK or internationally then your order will not be insured while in transit, and will not be trackable. This shop will not be held responsible for lost or damaged orders while in transit, you would need to speak to the relevant postal service directly. If however you have upgraded your shipping which would in turn insure your order then we can help with the claim process if need be. Proof of posting is available on every order.

Please note that once an order has gone into production then no further changes can be made. Please also note that its the responsibility of the buyer to check all wording, spelling and punctuation before placing there order. We request that custom details be added to the notes section at checkout, and its important that this made clear. Please use separate lines in between the custom words to Glam&Co and your actual message.

Orders are sent to the address that is recorded under the DISPATCH address, we actually use this address directly as a label, so please check all spelling and ensure there is a country listed otherwise your item will be returned to us, and we will have to re-charge to re-send it, no refunds will be accepted under these circumstances.

PRODUCTION TIME - Is listed under your purchase in your account, normally towards the bottom of the order along with more info sent from us.

Jewellery can tarnish when exposed to salts, oils, moisture, and acids, our skin can transfer all of these. Please see below some tips on how to keep your jewellery beautiful.

 - Dry your hands before putting on any piece of jewellery and remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or exercising. Avoid applying creams and lotions or spraying perfume directly onto your jewellery.

 - Thoroughly wipe each piece of jewellery with a soft clean cloth as soon as you remove it. The aim is to remove any oil, salt or moisture and to ensure that the piece is dry. This will prolong the beauty of each piece.

 - Store your jewellery in its pouch, bag, box, or in your own jewellery box, and try to keep pieces apart, so that they don't rub together or tangle up, if you don’t have any of the above then a ziplock plastic bag is perfect for storage.

 - Minor tarnish can be buffed off with a jewellery polishing cloth, even heavily tarnished pieces can be cleaned with specialist cleaner relative to its material (always follow the manufactures instructions). Plated items can be cleaned with a soft and non-abrasive cloth to renew their shine.

Aluminium

Aluminium is nickel and lead free. It has less skin reaction than sterling silver and is essentially hypo-allergenic. It will not tarnish, and is very easy to clean. Aluminium is a lightweight metal making it very comfortable to wear, and it will not react to moisture, oils, or acids like other metals do. It can be kept clean by simply using warm soapy water and drying with a soft cloth.

Brass & Copper

Brass is a metallic alloy made up of copper and zinc. It will naturally tarnish which is a look loved by so many. There are endless methods to keep your pieces in their original condition including lemon juice, soy sauce and tomato ketchup however we love Brasso for a full clean which we would recommend on a monthly basis. Whichever method you decide to use, please ensure that your item is dried with a soft cloth, preferably jewellery. General wear recommendations are above.

Sterling Silver

We use 925 sterling silver, any pieces that weigh over 7.78 grams are sent to the London Assay office for hallmarking. Sterling silver is an alloy of silver and other metals, usually copper, giving it strength and a little more durability, as pure silver is too soft for everyday wear. As with all precious metals, sterling silver will tarnish although it is less likely to happen as quickly if regularly worn. There are endless methods to keep your pieces in their original condition including baking soda, washing powder and toothpaste. We clean our pieces in warm soapy water and thoroughly dry with a soft cloth before storing. You can also polish your silver jewellery with a soft cloth or specialist jewellery cleaner.
General wear recommendations are above.

Stainless Steel + IP plated

IP Plating (Ion plating) is used on both rose gold and gold items that are marked as IP plated. The centre is Stainless Steel and the outside has a layer of titanium oxide, which can be used as a pigment (gold & rose gold) and has the same non allergenic properties as stainless steel. The process turns the titanium oxide into electric ions which becomes a harder and more durable coating with a higher brightness than that produced through traditional plating methods, It will not chip like other methods of plating and it will never turn green. To clean you can simply wash your piece in some warm water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Re-sizing Cuff Bracelets & Cuff Rings

The cuff bracelets and cuff rings can be easily teased into a smaller or larger size. Place the bracelet on your wrist and wrap your hand over the bracelet and lightly grip it in short light motions, you will feel the bracelet tease into a smaller size which will also be the perfect size for the shape of your wrist. The same applies with the ring while it is placed on your finger. Do not attempt to do this with either the cuff bracelet or cuff ring while its not being worn as this will run the risk of bending the piece.

What is the shipping time?

Shipping times do vary depending on the service that you select at checkout and the destination that the order is travelling too. Although we can not guarantee these times, they are approx.

Delivery to UK 2-3 business days
Delivery to Europe in 3–10 days business days
Rest of the world in 9–10 days business days

We do offer an International DHL express courier service which can reach most parts of the world within a few working days, and Special Delivery which is a next day service within the UK.

What Materials do you use?

We use 5 materials in general. Against each listing in the top right hand corner there is a section which will detail which material has been used, for each and every item.

Aluminium: Silver in colour

Brass: Gold in colour

Copper: Rose Gold in colour

Sterling Silver: Silver in colour

Stainless Steel: Generally silver in colour, although we do have pieces in both gold, and rose gold too.

Do you keep items in stock?

No, every single order is made to order, and there is a production time in which we allow the time to make and dispatch your order. Under every listing there is a tab called "Shipping & Policies" if you select this tab it will give you an up to date production time, and will have further details on the shipping times for your selected country, along with a break down of price for different services.

General Care Instructions (Full details found under policies section)

- Dry your hands before putting on any piece of jewellery and remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or exercising. Avoid applying creams and lotions or spraying perfume directly onto your jewellery.

- Thoroughly wipe each piece of jewellery with a soft clean cloth as soon as you remove it. The aim is to remove any oil, salt or moisture and to ensure that the piece is dry.

- Store your jewellery in its pouch, bag, box, and try to keep pieces apart, so that they don't rub together or tangle up, a ziplock plastic bag is perfect for storage.

- Minor tarnish can be buffed off with a jewellery polishing cloth, even heavily tarnished pieces can be cleaned with specialist cleaner relative to its material.

Care Instructions For Aluminium

Aluminium

Aluminium is nickel and lead free. It has less skin reaction than sterling silver and is essentially hypo-allergenic. It will not tarnish, and is very easy to clean. Aluminium is a lightweight metal making it very comfortable to wear, and it will not react to moisture, oils, or acids like other metals do. It can be kept clean by simply using warm soapy water and drying with a soft cloth.

Care Instructions For Brass & Copper

Brass & Copper

Brass is a metallic alloy made up of copper and zinc. It will naturally tarnish which is a look loved by so many. There are endless methods to keep your pieces in their original condition including lemon juice, soy sauce and tomato ketchup however we love Brasso for a full clean which we would recommend on a monthly basis. Whichever method you decide to use, please ensure that your item is dried with a soft cloth, preferably jewellery. General wear recommendations are above.

Care Instructions For Sterling Silver

Sterling Silver

We use 925 sterling silver, any pieces that weigh over 7.78 grams are sent to the London Assay office for hallmarking. Sterling silver is an alloy of silver and other metals, usually copper, giving it strength and a little more durability, as pure silver is too soft for everyday wear. As with all precious metals, sterling silver will tarnish although it is less likely to happen as quickly if regularly worn. There are endless methods to keep your pieces in their original condition including baking soda, washing powder and toothpaste. We clean our pieces in warm soapy water and thoroughly dry with a soft cloth before storing. You can also polish your silver jewellery with a soft cloth or specialist jewellery cleaner.

Care Instructions For Stainless Steel & IP Plating

Stainless Steel + IP plated

IP Plating (Ion plating) is used on both rose gold and gold items that are marked as IP plated. The centre is Stainless Steel and the outside has a layer of titanium oxide, which can be used as a pigment (gold & rose gold) and has the same non allergenic properties as stainless steel. The process turns the titanium oxide into electric ions which becomes a harder and more durable coating with a higher brightness than that produced through traditional plating methods, It will not chip like other methods of plating and it will never turn green. To clean you can simply wash your piece in some warm water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
