I love making sparkly things!

I'm a stay-at-home/homeschooling mother to my two youngest, 8 and 5. (My other one is grown and can take care of himself quite well.) I have wanted to work at home for a while, but couldn't find anything that I knew I would love or even like doing... until I started making my nail polish jewelry.

I wasn't always so big on nail polish, or glitter. But someone I know started making glitter nail polish, and before I knew it I was a total glitter addict. Then I discovered glass cabochon nail polish jewelry, and I liked it so much I wanted to make it myself. I knew that even if it never sold, I'd be perfectly happy to wear it all myself. But several people told me they thought people certainly would buy them, and thus Glammity Jane was born!

I grew up in Colorado, reading books mostly. I am deeply nerdy and love just about anything sciencey or science-fictiony. I also tend to use made up words like "sciencey" and "science-fictiony". I love making things, and I LOVE glitter nail polish.

I accept PayPal and direct checkout. I'm happy to accept direct checkout, but if you don't have a preference, I really like PayPal better.
Generally, $2.50 shipping to US, $3.50 to Canada, $6.00 everywhere else for the first item, $0.50 for each additional. Some lower priced items may have lower shipping costs. I'm sorry to have to raise prices for International Shipping, but the recent huge increase in international postage by the U.S. Post Office meant I was not even recouping the cost of postage. Mailers, bubble wrap and packing tape all cost money too, unfortunately.
Refunds and Exchanges
If something arrives broken, I will send you a replacement, a refund, or substitute something different-- whichever you prefer! I pack everything as carefully as I can to avoid breakage, but the postal system can be pretty hard on things sometimes. I now "Double Bubble" all my orders--I wrap them in a sheet of bubble wrap, and then place that in a bubble mailer.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you see a cabochon you like, but want it in a different setting, just ask! It may take a week or so for me to order the findings and make the piece, but I'm more than happy to! I can also shorten the necklaces if you prefer, just leave me a note at checkout.
