About

Lampwork glass beads. Enjoy the beautiful art of bead embroidery and come back whenever you may need to enjoy passion and inspiration.

Dear Friend,

Early on my life I was quite far from beautiful handmade art you can see now on my etsy shop. I started my professional career as regular bank employee. I have Bachelor and Master Degrees in Social Science and Leadership. Now I shall remember one evening in the late 2008. Christmas was almost there and I was wondering about all the hassle of buying all those regular gifts. It was kind of inner voice (or probably there was too much snow outside to go for shopping, who knows) which told me to stay home and make some special gifts for my special people.

Everything started with some basic crocheting – I made few women’s ornaments instantly. Inspired from my first results and most of all by the feel and passion whilst making something my own, I started to gather some information on crocheting techniques. I believe that my family and friends have forgave me already, but on that years Christmas there were no other gifts as many kinds of crocheted yarn ornaments.

Creativeness exploded – I started to gather any possible information on handmade art and creating techniques for beaded jewelry. I was obsessed by making my own pieces. After some time (whilst working and experimenting sometimes nearly 16 hours per day) my family and friends were hypnotized by my handmade beaded jewelry. Moreover, it was surprise to me that few of them were ready to buy and wear my handmade art. That inspired me to move on. But you know, it is not so easy just to sell – I always wonder after finishing some piece that this is so beautiful that I want to keep it for myself. But hopefully my passion never stops – when finishing one item, I can move to another creation instantly.

My handmade art is born spontaneously from my imagination – I rarely use any sketches. Thanks God who puts this harmony in my hands and make me able to share this beauty with you! I hope that you can see that I tried to be as much personal as I can be creating this website. Please enjoy the beautiful art and come back whenever you may need to enjoy passion and inspiration.

Best regards,
Egija,

Additional policies and FAQs
Beadwoven and bead embroidery jewelry care instructions:

Store your jewelry away from direct light, moist and steam, don't keep it in the bathroom. Moisture can damage the thread and isn't good for any kind of jewelry, it makes metals tarnish quickly. Softly padded jewelry box or soft pouch are the best options storing your jewelry. Handle it with care and avoid dropping, scratching and tossing it onto hard surfaces. Don't expose it to water or any other liquids or chemicals (detergents, lotions, disinfectants etc.) Remember to spray your perfume before putting on the jewelry, don't wear it doing dishes, taking showers and swimming. Take your jewelry off before changing your clothes and before going to bed. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

I try to make pictures as accurate as possible; however, colors may vary slightly due to the color calibration of each monitor.

I don't add printed invoices; if you need one, please, let me know.

Please contact me if you have any questions, I'm happy to help!

Thanks for stopping by!
