What an amazing experience! Patti helped me to translate a gift idea/image in my mind of this adorable custom pony and she brought it into reality seamlessly! Her work is incredible and the pictures just don't do the piece justice. It has a nice, heavy weight to it, it's got great color saturation and an adorable expression. So happy! Thank you!!

I love making beads. I work at an oxygen/propane torch where I melt glass on a stainless steel rod (mandrel). I wrap the glass around the mandrel that has a coating of bead release on it. Hot glass will stick to hot metal. This is how the beads get their holes. Cabochons are made on a coated flat piece of steel that has a handle.

I listen to a LOT of booktapes. Happiness is making beads and listening to a story. I enjoy custom orders as they stretch me. So feel free to contact me if you would like something in a different color or have an idea of something you would like. I will try to accommodate you.

I travel around the country to shows to sell my work. You can check my website for my show schedule and to see what else I make. www.GlassHorseRanch.com Or you can check my facebook page. I tend to post new work there pretty frequently. It is there that you will see that even though at times I may be using similar components; my finished pieces are all very unique. www.facebook.com/glasshorseranch
