About

What's in a Name

Originally, Glasscreekstudio was the shop name for years while creating and selling Leaded Stained Glass, Fussed Glass and Wire Sculpting. I loved the name the first time I saw it on a sign near Mammoth, Ca. We were coming home from a craft show down south and there it was. So it become our studio name and we traveled with it for years.
When I opened my first Etsy shop, Glass Creek Studio was filled with my handcrafted jewelry until I decided I needed an outlet for my vintage overload. I not only had had a Vintage Clothing store for years, but the thrill of the hunt has never left me, nor the fervor of holding that special object with a story to tell.
And so, it has evolved and as my vintage has grown and grown, more of those items are ending up on the site, Glasscreekstudio. And even though I don't have my jewelry listed along side any longer, I still maintain another store for my handcrafted pieces. They have found a new home at www.Etsy.com/shop/eleniemantonsen.
I share both passions of collecting and handcrafting and Glass Creek Studio has been and will always be a big part of where I came from and where I am right now.
So, the name doesn't necessarily speak volumes for the products, but what's in a name anyway?
Thanks for taking the time to take a look and feel free to say hello anytime. The studio is always open!

Payment
I except Paypal as payment and offer checkout with additional credit cards through Etsy. Please pay for items within 3 days of purchase. If payment is not received within a reasonable amount of time and there is no correspondance on the buyers end, I will consider the sale void. I will contact you first before ending the transaction. This is why I ask that you be sure of your selection and that you have the available funds before committing to a purchase. I have to mention that I am often gone from Fridays until Mondays doing Craft Fairs in various locations, so if I don't get back to you immediately, it may be for that reason and I will contact you as soon as I return. Follow the easy checkout instructions and if need be, feel free to contact me via my email address.

With the recent hikes in shipping costs, I am not shipping overseas unless you request it. Additional costs will apply so contact me first for a quote on shipping. I like to ship as soon as possible after payment is received, so I ship within 1 to 3 days after payment has been processed. I wrap my items carefully in bubble pack and tissue or place them in a gift box for protection. I ship USPS First Class with confirmation. If you want insurance, please indicate so. I keep close records on shipping so if for any reason you do not receive an item, please contact me and we can discuss it before leaving bad feedback that is not warrented. I make every effort on my end to ensure the customers satifaction and am always willing to work with a customer as long as they communicate with me.
