Gleeful Things
Hey there, I’m Julie! I’m a 30-something Southern California dwelling crochet designer! I live near Los Angeles in an area known as the South Bay, just a few minutes from the beach!
I’ve been publishing my own crochet patterns since 2006. In the beginning, I was all about amigurumi! I loved making cute little animals and that was where the name Gleeful Things came from. Eventually, I started making hats just because I was wanting some to wear. To my surprise, the hat patterns sold way better than amigurumi, so I’ve been focusing on wearable items ever since. I like to keep my designs youthful and trendy. Everything I design are things I actually wear.
