Please be aware that COVID-19 continues to result in an inability to restock some items in my shop, including candles, rhinestones, paint, and embellishments). The current production time is 7-10 BUSINESS days, however, this time varies depending on my ability to secure necessary items. To reduce late arriving items, please list the date you need the candle and please select shipping options at checkout accordingly. DUE TO COVID-19, POSTAL DELIVERY MAY BE DELAYED. The production time is how long it takes to make the candle. The shipping time is how long it takes for USPS to deliver the candle (after the production time). If you need the candle quicker, please convo me first.
Rudeness and disrespectfulness will exclude you from purchasing from my shop. This includes messages that state "Hello??" or "?" Be adults people. I don't sit at my computer waiting for a message to come in.
**If you order within 15 days of the event, please let me know and purchase priority or express shipping (available at checkout). Purchase of Priority and Express shipping will expedite the delivery time, however, the production time remains the same.
My candles are three inches high...the typical candle height for birthday candles.
I am accepting custom orders. No additional charge!
I embellish custom keepsake birthday and anniversary candles to add sparkle to your special day. My listings provide you with some color combination ideas so feel free to choose from one of these listings or message me with your preferred colors.

Beautifully designed keepsake candles
My vision for Glitter Wishes developed when I was looking for the perfect candle to go on my daughter's first birthday cake. This small item was so very important to me because this would be the last first birthday to celebrate in my family. I searched the stores and the internet and was unable to find just the right colors or style. Then it hit me: make it myself! Since this time, I have been crafting custom candles for that special day to celebrate our loved ones and share the joy on their faces when they get a glimpse of that shimmering milestone. My birthday and anniversary candles are handmade by me in my in-home studio. I use nontoxic glitter paint (never loose glitter!) on these burnable wax candles. I add high quality rhinestones in over 30 colors that reflect light brilliantly. I also have various embellishments to meet themed needs.
Since opening up my shop on Etsy in 2013, I have been featured in numerous popular party websites, including Kara’s Party Ideas, Hostess with the Mostess, Catch My Party, Spaceships and Laser Beams, Mama and Baby Love, and Everyday Party Magazine, as well as other blogs. I also sell my candles in the popular local bakery, Sweet Surrender, in Bakersfield, California.

There are no refunds or exchanges, however, depending on the circumstances, I will work with the customer until we are both satisfied with the outcome.

Shipping
I will ship first class within SEVEN BUSINESS days with tracking. If you require the candle to be delivered sooner, please let me know. If you would like insurance and/or confirmation added, please let me know. I offer two day priority shipping, overnight shipping, and international shipping as well.
**Please be aware that Glitter Wishes by Kara is not responsible or liable for lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged orders once shipped. I can't guarantee delivery, as I am not associated with or in any way have control over the post office or their policies. In the event that Glitter Wishes by Kara does grant a return, the cost of the candle will be refunded minus shipping fees.
If ordering internationally, please allow at least two weeks for delivery. Also, please be aware that customs can and may hold any package for any length of time and some countries charge the recipient an extra cost for international packages. Glitter Wishes by Kara is not responsible for customs delays.
