Welcome to my shop

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had a love of antiques and older pieces with charm and character. My mother collected some antiques and instilled this love for 'things of the past' in me.
Treasure shopping has always been a part of what I do in my spare time, so I was quite excited when I learned that I was able to share some of those treasures I find on Etsy. It is something I thoroughly enjoy and hope to continue to do.
Breathing new life into décor items, polishing an old piece of silver or upcycling something that would otherwise be tossed gives me JOY!!

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

REFUND POLICY:
NOTE: OUR ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS IS"

The nature of vintage finds are that they are "preloved" and have vintage character. These are VINTAGE items and as such, some imperfections are expected. We do our best to reflect in our listings and pictures, the precise condition of the item listed. Should you have additional questions, please ask us before purchasing.

REFUNDS: Unfortunately I am unable to accept returns for buyers remorse.

Our item descriptions are quoted as accurately as possible. Clear photographs are taken and we do our very best to describe each item and to indicate any major defects, crazing, repairs or damage.

Every item we offer is unique and we encourage buyers to contact us with any possible questions they may have. We will be happy to answer you as quickly as possible.


BROKEN OR DAMAGED ITEMS AND REFUNDS

We package our items with the utmost care to ensure their safe delivery to your home, however, long journeys sometimes involve many hands which can lead to accidents, broken or damaged items.

If you receive broken or damaged items, we will reimburse you the cost of the items, providing you fulfill the following criteria :

1. Contact us immediately upon receipt of the item(s) and inform us of the situation

2. Provide us with photographs of the damaged items and packaging

Once the above criteria is met, REFUNDS are issued via PAYPAL or your original method of payment and are processed within 3 business days.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns. We are always very open to working with buyers and strive to provide excellent customer service.
We always pride ourselves on fast and absolute courteous service and continue to maintain those standards. We will do everything in our power to make your business transaction with us a pleasant one.
Payment
We happily accept payment via PayPal as well as Direct Checkout through Etsy. Please know that your payment is SAFE AND SECURED, as Etsy will NEVER disclose your credit card information. You can use your credit card even if you don't have a PayPal account. Note: All of our prices include sales tax, other than the various states in the US that are now taxing on resold items.
Shipping
Items are Shipped through a company in the Toronto area who takes our parcels to the US, and Items are shipped through USPS. Most items to the USA take 3-4 Business days to arrive depending on whether they are First class or Priority. All US parcels will receive a tracking # to track their package. I usually ship parcels once a week. Some International packages will not included tracking unless it is requested, at a higher cost. Depending on weight and size of the box, it will be send through my courier, Chit Chats.

Please note I do not offer express or overnight shipping.

GIFTS:
If you are purchasing items to be sent directly as gifts, please let us know. We would be happy to include a card/personal message as well wrap your package at NO EXTRA CHARGE (No invoice will be included). I need a CONVO from you prior to purchase to know what kind of card to send..ie: birthday, missing you, etc.

For International Shipping

I am happy to ship internationally, in most cases - however items that weigh over 4 lbs or if the item requires a large box, I am not able to send and I apologize for this.

My courier offers two options for shipping to destinations
outside of Canada and the US. Unfortunately, tracking comes at a higher cost. Please advise us in advance if you wish to have tracking on your parcel.
Surface Parcel and Air Parcel are the options.
Most listings currently have the Air Parcel Price. On occasion, due to high costs of heavy parcels International items will be sent surface and can take 6-8 weeks for delivery. I will advise you in advance if I will be required to send your parcel surface as it can take up to 8 weeks for delivery. you will have the choice of paying the extra charges if you wish to send by air.
We can ship your preference, just let us know.

PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR SHIPPING RATES IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE EXACT AMOUNT FOR SHIPPING. ALL OF MY CURRENT SET COSTS ARE ESTIMATES HOWEVER I WILL ADHERE TO THESE PRICES UNLESS ASKED FOR EXACT QUOTES.

Buyers are responsible for any duty or custom charges if applicable.

Note: I am not responsible for how long it takes for an international purchase to arrive. International arrival times could largely depend upon the item getting through the purchasers customs or the delivery method.

CUSTOMS: International Buyers are responsible for ALL customs charges.

***INTERNATIONAL BUYERS please be aware that we aren't responsible for any fees that your postal company in your country of residence requires. Please look into what fees are required at your local post office BEFORE purchasing from our shop. Any fees charged by your customs office are the responsibility of the buyer and not Glyndas Vintage Shop. If you're concerned about additional fees please contact your local postal office to familiarize yourself with any added costs that need to be paid in order to receive your package. We do not know what your country's regulations are in terms of receiving international packages.
