About

As a child, I loved coloring in the lines. And I still do. Except now, I'm the one drawing the lines.

Go Gray was just an idea years ago. My brother and his wife came up with the name to accompany my burgeoning photography skills and interest in pursuing a professional career in the field of fine arts.
Then, in 2012 I moved with my husband to the island-country of Grenada where I launched my first business Facebook page.
From there the website (GoGrayProductions.com) was created and business picked up on the island. Aside from portrait and event photography, I began painting custom maps and pet portraits for friends.
Next thing I knew, complete strangers were contacting me for my work. I won an award through UncommonGoods.com and my artwork found a place on their website where prints began selling across the country.
Now, Go Gray Artwork is located in beautiful Connecticut and all original pieces are created in the company of my pup and the comfort of my own home!

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

When you purchase an ORIGINAL painting, keep a few things in mind:

1. Paintings can be distorted or destroyed when exposed to excessive humidity or water. If you have questions about how to store/display your new painting, don't hesitate to ask.

2. Some original paintings have paint or pen marks on the backs from being moved around our work station. That is part of the charm! They are not factory printed or machine-made. They are individual pieces of work and therefore have unique characteristics.

3. Take care to ensure there is a dry location that your mail carrier can deposit your art if you won't be home to receive the delivery. Once the art leaves the shop, you have the most control over its safe arrival.

Do you paint people?

I have been known to paint people. I’ve even been known to paint *on* people (usually when they’re sleeping and have a good sense of humor). But as of now, I’m not painting people for commissioned portraits.

Do you paint pets other than cats and dogs?

Birds, bunnies, horses, chickens — if you have a furry, feathered or scaled member of your family, I’ll paint it! All I need is a cute story about how much you love your pet and a great picture to get started.

Do you offer discounts for multiple purchases?

I would love to paint your entire furry family! But if you're ordering fewer than 5 custom portraits simultaneously, I'm not able to offer a bulk order discount.
Because I want to make my art accessible to anyone, I keep my prices as reasonable as possible and offer an array of sizes. Unfortunately, having a small business like this means that I also have to consider fees, taxes, cost of supplies and overhead, and after all of that, my margins are very slim.
While I am very happy to ship your paintings together to save on the cost of postage, I can't discount non-bulk purchases.
I hope you'll still consider my artistic talent and time worth the cost!

Do you sell your paintings matted or framed?

No. The paintings that you purchase will arrive in a clear cellophane sleeve, without matting or frame. If a picture of an available piece is shown in a frame, it’s only meant as an example of how you might display your artwork.
