Im Jahr 2015, zwei Wochen vor meiner Hochzeit, wurde bei mir Schilddrüsenkrebs diagnostiziert. Mit 28 Jahren hatte ich definitiv nicht erwartet, das C-Wort zu hören. Glücklicherweise hatte ich eine sehr behandelbare Form von Schilddrüsenkrebs und eine Operation und einige Behandlungen später, und ich war wieder in Schiffsform. Aber es hat mich wirklich dazu gebracht, mein Leben zu bewerten, und ich fühlte, dass das Leben zu kurz war, um meiner Leidenschaft nicht nachzugehen.
Ich hatte immer davon geträumt, mein eigenes Geschäft zu führen. Und ich hatte in meiner Freizeit eine Reihe von Tieren skizziert. Ich habe ungefähr 2 Jahre gebraucht, um die erste Tiersammlung fertigzustellen und 2017 habe ich den Mut gefasst, den Sprung zu wagen und meinen Etsy-Shop mit den Alphabet Animal Flash Cards als erstes Produkt zu eröffnen.
Seitdem habe ich den Kollektionen alle Arten von Illustrationen hinzugefügt und sie durch verschiedene Produkte mit der Welt geteilt. Jetzt, da ich eine eigene Tochter habe, bin ich begeistert, mit ihr die Lernspiele, Partydekoration, Kleidung und mehr zu teilen, die ich für GoodnightFox kreiere. Aber mehr als das, ich liebe es, mit ihren starken Frauen in der Wirtschaft zu teilen, die ihre Träume verfolgen!
In 2015, two weeks before my wedding, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. At 28, I definitely wasn't expecting to hear the C word. Fortunately, I had a very treatable form of thyroid cancer and one surgery and some treatments later, and I was back in ship shape. But it really pushed me to evaluate my life and I felt life was too short not to pursue my passion.
I had always dreamed of running my own business. And I had been sketching a series of animals in my spare time. It took me about 2 years to complete the first collection of animals and in 2017, I got the courage to take the plunge and open up my Etsy shop with the Alphabet Animal Flash Cards as my first product.
Ever since, I've been adding all kinds of illustrations to the collections and sharing them with the world through various products. Now that I have a daughter of my own, I'm thrilled to be sharing with her the educational games, party decor, clothing and more that I create for GoodnightFox. But more than that, I love sharing with her strong women in business who pursue their dreams!
