Lovely hand made dress, soft fabric with great seems, hook, zip etc. so many hand made clothes are essentially botch jobs with improper finishings, not this one. Thank you. Lovely in the tropical climate.

About

The life in the clothing

I love making clothes, and working with fabrics. I opened this store so that I can do that and be here for my family - so I do what I can, when I can.
When I'm making clothes the woman is everything. Sure, it's lovely to play with beautiful materials and have that form of expression, but Gosyma is about the woman who wears my clothing. It's about how she wears it, and how she feels when she wears it. The woman brings life to the clothing.

Gosyma stuff happens on our 2 acre block in Elimbah. In the shed, actually. I have half, Scott has the other half. I struggle to keep it tidy sometimes. A project is half-finished, and I jump in with another idea I'm really excited about. It can be good to have 2 or 3 on the go at the same time I think.

The work starts with a flash, or a feeling, zapped into life by music, textiles, the shibori designs, or something else - it could be anything!
The shed is like Narnia (you know, the fantasy world from the novel, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", by C. S. Lewis). Music's on, and you get lost in what you are doing. You're in another world, until you hear a reminder, and emerge, rubbing your eyes and suddenly remembering ordinary life.

I was born in England in the 70's and loved the punk girls with their wild eye makeup and stand-up hair. I adored Adam Ant, wanted to play the harp and be Kate Bush. I grew up in beautiful Australia and get lost in my own world whenever I can.

Shipping
Goods will be sent within 3 working days of receiving payment, and I will let you know as I have done it. If you want to have your parcel urgently let me know and I'll do what I can, though it may incur additional shipping costs if express services are required, but I will let you know first.
I will take all care when packing and sending items, though I cannot be held responsible for delays in customs, should they occur.
I take this opportunity to remind you that the customer remains responsible for all customs and duties that may be incurred.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want to know if you are not happy with anything you get from me. Please contact me, your comments and complaints are welcome, as they will help me to improve. (Hopefully you will be ecstatic with everything though...)

If an item has been received faulty, and I have been informed within 60 days of a customer receiving it, I offer a full refund, including shipping costs. Please let me know first, before sending it back or anything.

If an item you buy from me does not last as long as you believe it should (within reason), and as long as it hasn't been mistreated (don't let the dog eat it!) I will fully refund, or replace the item, whichever you prefer, as long as I can still get the materials.
