My wife and I were very happy with the craftsmanship, and it came in plenty of time for Christmas. Thanks a lot!

An Unexpected Journey
My jewelry making happened by accident.
To keep busy between classes while earning my BFA, I started stringing beads and weaving chainmail. I taught myself how to make all kinds of jewelry from wire wrapping to stone setting to metal clay carving.
In 2008, I opened my Etsy store to sell my hobby pieces – and it took off!
My shop name, GothicGlitter, comes from a critique on my drawings. One professor described them as "dark and gothic with a handful of glitter thrown on top." I loved this idea and adopted it into my shop name and motto: GothicGlitter, Not Everything Dark is Dull. I can think of nothing more boring than the slick, polished perfection of meaningless mass produced jewelry. I prefer to make mine real and deep with one-of-a-kind stones, hand carved metal clay, casts of real vintage settings, and backstories.
Because of this, antique pieces fit so well in my shop. The pieces I choose are usually handmade with a rich and interesting history – not to mention gorgeous craftsmanship! My favorite ones are Victorian pieces because they are so full of meaning. Every stone, flower, and engraving tells a story.
I may not have gone looking for a career in jewelry, but one sure found me and I couldn't be happier! So please, take a look around my shop and see what finds you. :)

Shipping Times and Methods
U S A :
Domestic items are insured for their full value and include online tracking. First Class Mail has a 3-14 day delivery time with most packages arriving around day 4-5. Priority Mail usually arrives in 2-3 days, but in very rare circumstances my take up to 7.
I n t e r n a t i o n a l:
International items are mailed USPS Priority Mail International, which arrives in 8-24 days. This method has full insurance, delivery confirmation, and some online tracking.
I only ship to select countries at this time. I no longer mail to France, Malaysia, and Italy due to an excessive number of slow deliveries and lost packages in those areas.
I want you to be happy! If you are unhappy with an item, return it as soon as possible for a full refund of the purchase price, minus shipping.
Returns must be mailed within a week of receipt unless we make other agreements via convo/email.
Single items priced $200 and up are eligible for layaway/payment plans. If you are 100% committed to completing the transaction and unable to purchase in one payment, I would be happy to break the listing in two. The first half must be purchased within 24 hours and the second should be completed within 3 weeks.
Layaway payments are non-refundable. One layaway per customer at a time. Please contact me if you are interested in turning a listing into a layaway.
International Taxes, Tariffs, and Fees
Most countries charge an import fee on items brought in from the USA. These customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are NOT included in my item prices.
Contact your local customs office for more information.
