Hand Painted Bibles, notebooks, and stickers
My name is Emily Berariu and I am from the St. Louis area in Missouri. I don't have professional training, but I have loved art since childhood. I would love to share my art, in the form of name art, prints, and stickers (and more soon!). My shop all began with a notebook that I decorated (drew and painted on). I have always loved typography and the love and care that goes into hand made products so after I designed that first notebook, I realized I would love to sell my products and share them with the Etsy community and the world.
My shop name, Grace Rains, is based on Hosea 6:3 which reads, "Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth." I made a notebook design that was based on this verse and that's when I realized I would love to create and sell my designs. I have always loved rain because it is refreshing, life-giving, and just amazing over-all. For me this verse really reflects how God is like rain to us. He pours his grace and love over us filling us and giving us life. I want to use my talents in such a way that in some small way he will be reflected through my work.
I hope you are inspired by my work and that you can find something that encourages you to be your best person and follow your dreams.
