Exactly what I needed - takes up very little space in my knitting bag; protection from pointy ends; colorful. A happy purchase. Shipped quickly. Thanks for making the mod to work for 8" DPNs!

I got these after accidentally stabbing myself with some sharp double pointed needles. The shipping was prompt and fast (I am located approximately 30 minutes away from this seller). The only complaint I have is that the elastic between the ends is a bit too long for my intended needles . I used them on 5" double points and there was a bit of slack, but it's a wonderful product.

About

Love cats? Love knitting or crocheting? Want to combine the two? Want to keep them apart?

I know not all yarn people are cat people, but if that describes you, you're in the right place. I make things to hold yarn and knitting tools.

I started making these bags and holders because store-bought ones just didn't work for me. Some of that is because too many of those things are pink and flowery. Some of that is because the way I like to work seems to be different from the typical yarn tool designer's idea of how I should work. And in some cases, because cats: both trying to exclude the cats from the yarn, and to have cats on my knitting stuff.

I'll get ideas for what I make in different ways, but often I start with a problem I'm having managing my yarn or my tools, and try to come up with a solution that works and is fun too. Sometimes I start with cats and work backwards.

My cats are my "helpers". Koshka especially takes great joy in testing my prototypes for me, and she assumes if it's round (no matter how big!), I'm making a toy for her. Not to worry though, I take precautions to prevent them from helping me with items I intend to put up for sale.

I started knitting when I was 7 or 8, but didn't really get into it for about 12 years or so. I've tried all kinds of crafts for as long as I can remember, and I've found that combining media (or using one to aid another) is lots of fun.

Koshka is four years old, and loves anything I make she can sit in, and she thinks anything round I make must be a fetch toy for her.

Welcome to Koshka's Bazaar and thanks for stopping by. Here we hope you'll find something that will make a special gift for someone (maybe even yourself!). We specialize in items for people who like yarn and people who like cats (or both!), such as knitting baskets, project bags. and pouches for notions.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept both Paypal and Etsy Direct Checkout. You can use a credit card without opening an account using Paypal, if you'd like.

Items will be shipped after payment clears.
Shipping
Shipping is by First Class Mail through USPS, unless a package is particularly large/heavy. Packages will include tracking information.

For buyers within the United states, there are no additional shipping charges, except for large or heavy items. Packages often arrive quickly, usually within 3 to 5 days.

For buyers outside the United States, Etsy will calculate the shipping price for you based on your location. If the shipping costs less than what you paid, I will refund the difference, if the difference is at least $1. International shipping usually takes 1 to 4 weeks, though on rare occasions, going through customs can delay a package an additional 6 weeks. Please be aware that there may be customs fees or duties, and you will need to pay for these.

I will contact you when I ship your package with the tracking information. If there will be a delay in shipping I will contact you as soon as possible and keep you updated.

You might notice that the box or envelope your package comes in is not brand new. We like to reuse envelopes and boxes that are clean and in good condition when possible.

PDF patterns do not include a shipping charge and are available for download soon after purchase, usually immediately.
Refunds and Exchanges
We do our best to take photos of our items that accurately represent them, and thoroughly describe each item in the listing. Please be aware that colors may vary between monitors. Many of our items are one of a kind, and the photo shows the item you will receive. When several of the same item are available, individual items may vary slightly from the photograph because each one is handmade.

If you do need to return an item, please contact us to arrange the details within 14 days of receipt. If you have simply changed your mind, you pay return shipping, and we will refund the original purchase price as soon as we receive it. If we made a mistake or the item is damaged or defective, we will pay for you to ship the item back to us for repair, exchange, or refund.

PDF patterns cannot be returned, so purchases of patterns cannot be refunded once you have downloaded the files. We clearly mark these as patterns and not physical items in the description. You will need a program that can open PDF files to read the pattern, such as Adobe Reader (available as a free download: http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/).
