About
I just love what I do
I love what I do...whether it is acting and singing, or sewing a new outfit or costume for myself or my husband, or taking photographs or playing with my dachshund. When I left my last job that was no longer suited for me, I really wanted to find a way to share the things I genuinely loved doing with many more people. And thus, Gracie Lou Designs came to be! This shop is named after my mom, Grace Louise, and it is a tribute to so many of the ladies in my life that have inspired me. I work with my husband, Jim, to create the Alphatography art sold here. I hope you love what I create as much as I do!

Returns and exchanges
Because of the amount of time, attention and care involved in the creation of handmade items, I do not accept returns or exchanges at this time.
However, I do guarantee your satisfaction.
If there is a problem with your order, please be sure to contact me at llorscheter [!at] hotmail.com **within 3 business days of receiving your order**, and I will make every reasonable effort to ensure that you are satisfied with your shopping experience.
Also, please feel free to email me with ANY concerns or questions, PRIOR to leaving feedback here on Etsy, so that I can have an opportunity to assist you and resolve any problems that might arise.
Payment
Be sure to follow the link in your Etsy order through to the Paypal site to complete your transaction...your order is not complete until then. You will receive an email from Paypal confirming your payment has been made.
Payment is due at the time of your order and must be received before I will ship out an item or begin to create a custom piece. If you do not pay for your order within three days, I reserve the right to cancel the sale. Please let me know if you are experiencing difficulties processing your payment- communication is greatly appreciated!
Shipping
*Alphatography orders arrive carefully packaged in multiple layers of bubble wrap and corrugated board. Please let me know if you would like a gift note included with these orders--I am happy to do so!
**PLEASE NOTE that if you do not specify that you are sending a gift in the notes of your order, I do not have a way of knowing that your item is being shipped to someone other than you, and I will not include any information within the package unless specifically requested.
Please note that custom pieces may take UP TO 3 WEEKS in-house crafting time from the day of your order/payment. I trust you will find that your handcrafted item is worth the wait!
Items are shipped using Priority Mail. Standard shipping time for Priority is 3 days, but please allow 3-7 days for your item's arrival.
