I'm a Gramma to 12 grandchildren scattered across the country, with that in mind, I create things geared more for children.
I started my shop back in 2013, but really didn't do much with it until 2015.
How it all began:
I worked a "9-5" type job for quite a lot of years with creating and crafting on the side.
My sweet Mom became terminally ill 9 years ago while living in another state (Michigan - where I was born and raised )and I took a leave from work to go up-north (MI) to help my dad take care of her (I would do it all again). This brought a domino effect with it that led to the loss of my job and my home.
My sweet husband (fiancé at the time - Robert) called my Parents while Mom was still coherent enough and asked for my hand in marriage and they said "Yes"! He wanted Mom to know before she passed).
Moving back to GA I couldn't find work so I decided to go to college at 50 yrs old, that was a big leap!
Robert has taken care of it all, wanting me to keep my high GPA. I was able to receive my Associates degree in Paralegal studies and went out to pursue my Bachelors in the same. I'm 2 classes away from that :)
In the meantime I was making crafts and decided to go for my real dream (with Robert's encouragement) and here I am!
My sweet Angel Mom always believed in my crafts and always told me she wanted to see me sell my things on "QVC", haha..she was a "QVC"aholic :) Maybe someday, you never know!
My shop name came to be because I have 12 grandkids all scattered around the country with a few living in GA but a few hours away. I send them boxes with goodies in them, so I am truly a "Gramma-In-the-Box"! The name suited me and I create things that seemed to be geared toward children, as well as adults.
I love my life, my husband, my family, and all my babies big and small, they are all my world!
I think in a strange way, my Mom is cheering me on from Heaven above while my wonderful family supports me and cheers me on here on earth.
I'm a detail oriented person as you can tell from my story, and you'll notice it is reflected in my creations. I do take pride in my work and want to make the best quality products for all of my sweet customers.
I love this avenue of selling my creations because I get to interact with everyone and sometimes my customers become my friends as well as my friends become my customers!
I would love any ideas you all might have of something you'd like me to create (I love to customize), and together we can see if I can bring your ideas to life! Have fun browsing around and feel free to ask questions :)
Thanks!
Sheri
