Yes, that's our nerdist king Chris Hardwick and I not only got to meet him, but I got to dress him in some tees. (He also has a Whom Owl tee.)

About

Saving the English language one print at a time.

I am a stickler when it comes to proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. I also love to design. One day, I decided that it would be a great idea to combine the two; the end result was Grammatical Art.

I love creating new and funny designs. I want someone to have one of my prints in their home, classroom, or office and just smile when they see it. If it educates a passerby, even better.

I have a passion for grammar, chemistry, and physics. I love depicting each subject in my work. I hope you enjoy my prints half as much as I do!

I am now expanding into screen printing (hand-pulled by me). Stay tuned!

Fun fact: I am originally from Ohio and now live in Arizona for my "day job." I miss Ohio, but the desert is a pretty neat change of scenery.

Shop members

  • Natalie

    Owner, I Do It All.

I am a nerdy chemist by day and a designer/screen printer/business owner every other minute of the day. I'm definitely a workaholic who's dedicated (addicted?) to her business, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

  • Jess

    Operations Coordinator

I'm a children's librarian whose career is on hold while I raise my (new!) son, Will. I've been editing grammar since my college days with Natalie, and adore her clean designs and pro-nerd love. I help out with customer relations and operations.

  • The Kid

    Assistant

The kid is the reason I do all of this. She loves being in the shop and loves watching how shirts are made. She's also the best little helper.

Production partners

  • Brush Dance

    CA, United States

Since 1989, Brush Dance has been combining the work of independent artists and photographers with the wisdom of teachers, poets, and other writers to create mindful calendar products.

  • A Printing Partner

    Phoenix, AZ

A local print shop assists me with items I cannot print myself. They assist me with notebooks, mugs, and pillows.

  • Large Format & Canvas Printer

    United States

I am partnering with a professional printer that specializes in larger print sizes (e.g., 16x20s, 30x40s), as I cannot do them myself in my small home office. They also print all of my canvas work. As always, everything is designed by me.

Frequently asked questions

Sizing Details

Please check the listing's sizing chart for measurements. Women's crew neck shirts tend to RUN SMALL and may vary due to the cut; this is why you must compare measurements to your own to ensure the best possible fit.

If you don't know your measurements, I recommend taking your favorite shirt from the closet and measuring it to compare it to the sizing chart.

Color Variances Between Monitors

Color variations may occur between monitors and printers; this goes for art print colors, t-shirt colors, and screen printing ink colors. What you see on your screen may not match the actual color of the print or garment. If you have specific color questions or needs, please let me know and I can work with you to match your color scheme.

Processing Times / Why Is My Order Taking So Long?!

As you can customize sizes and shirt colors for your order, all shirts are printed on-demand especially for you by me.

While I have an entire room of blank shirts, I do not always have every shirt style, color, or size available immediately. I also burn all of our screens in-house, and a new screen design can take 2-3 days to properly process.

In order to provide you these customization options, I do need the time to get your garments in and to print them myself.

Wholesale Availability

All products are available for wholesale. Please contact me for specific details and pricing.

Other Information

I have a smoke-free home, but I do have a fluffy husky. While she is not allowed in the screen printing or packaging areas, there may be a loose dog hair or two. For that, I apologize in advance.
(Shaving her completely bald has crossed my mind at least 100 times.)
