Announcement   I have been doing woodworking for a few decades, not your typical grandma. I closed my Etsy shop for a while to take a break and to take care of other matters. So now I am back, and am ready to get busy with certain creations that I like making. I can not do custom orders at this point. Not sure that will change. What you see is what you get. But will add things as I go along, you never know what will show up.

Hi, come on in and browse my shop. I am delighted to have you look at my creations. I love woodworking, and I tend to stray from the conventional. I prefer to have the wood tell me what it is going to be rather than spending days fussing over what to make out of a particular piece of wood. So if you love Mother Nature then you will probably like my items.

Returns and exchanges
If an item is damaged in the shipping process, just convo me, I can determine whether or not it can be repaired, or can just replace it.
Payment
Payment must be made within 3 days of clicking your little mouse, I have no problem waiting a little longer, just be sure to convo me and let me know when you're able to pay. I do a Farmer's Market on Saturdays and sometimes a piece that is in my shop may sell there, in which case, I have to go in and delete or cancel the sale. If you are going to request a custom order, I will require, starting in September 1, 2009 that you either make full payment, or, you can pay half up front and the other half when finished. I accept Paypal, money orders, or credit card.
Shipping
I prefer to ship USPS priority flat rate when possible. On larger items, often times it is best to ship UPS. Wood is heavy, so the larger the piece, the more it costs to ship. For me, international shipping is not possible at this time. I find it to be really daunting and because I have no control over the Customs of any country, I run the risk of losing the item and so I do not like to ship outside the US. Frankly it is really expensive and costs more than the item.
