This piece was a gift for a friend. It was so well done and gorgeous! My friend is an art teacher and I was at dinner with her and another art teacher when I gave it to her. The other art teacher (who taught us when we were in high school) immediately said that it looked like something from Frank Lloyd Wright. It was a huge hit and I can’t wait to see it in her sunny window in person. I highly recommend buying from this shop and Wwill most likely be purchasingv more pieces in the future.

My second amazing piece from GrapevineArtGlass! You will not find another Etsy artisan displaying the skill and passion with which Kevin creates his art, nor another shop that exhibits both kindness and efficiency with equal vigor the way he does ~ trust me, I've been around. I suspect Kevin may have a hard time shipping these remarkable pieces off. They are simply THAT GOOD! Aside from being stunningly beautiful and painstakingly crafted pieces of art, they're just plain cool (and sexy)! **I actually exchanged my most recent piece and to say it was easy would be an understatement. Kevin sent the replacement before I had packaged and shipped the original. Who does that!? One of my very favorite and easily recommendable shops of eleven years and over 150 purchases on Etsy!! Thanks Kevin!

There's a certain satisfaction you get when unpacking a piece constructed with obvious care and craftsmanship. This is what Kevin provides. Rather than just 'fill a space', I decided to go with his smaller panels because their design was superior to anything I'd seen on (or off) Etsy. I'm SO happy and relieved I did! Kevin's pieces catch your eye and draw you in. Lovely from a distance, it is only on approach that you TRULY begin to appreciate the remarkable beauty of the panel, as well as the skill and commitment of the craftsman who created it. In addition, I received both my panels within four days of purchase! Kevin is also quick to respond to questions, and always upbeat and gracious in his communication. This is one of those Etsy artisans and experiences that you know are out there, but don't always find. Thanks Kevin!!

But Who Am I?

I first became interested in the art of stained glass in 1992 when we had our home built. We have several transom windows and I was at a loss about what to do with them -- do I just leave them blank? Then the idea of having them fitted with stained glass came to me, but I wanted to do the work myself.

I took an introductory class and completed my first stained glass project. I excitedly gave it to my mother. I felt like a schoolboy again, bringing home my artwork. I was off and running. Here's a link to some of my work on my Flickr account:

Stained glass has only ever been a hobby for me, mostly something I've done to pass the cold, Minnesota winter days. Now that I'm retired I have more time to devote to the art and share my efforts with others.

Please feel free to inquire about personalized pieces if I don't have displayed what you're looking for.

Thanks for stopping by.
