About

seeking magical moments of rustic escapism

GrayDayStudio was born as a New Year's resolution to put my MFA to good use and make a living as an artist.

My middle name is Gray, I like rainy gray days thus the inspiration behind my studio name.

I believe in living in the moment of doing what you love of leaving your little corner better than how you found it. I find my inspiration from nature, from observing.

Through my atelier I seek to interpret those rare and seemingly fleeting moments of inspiration, of wonder and awe, into practical items of daily use- be it slung over your arm, or hung in your living room.

So, Welcome to my little corner where I hope to share with you a touch of fun and a bit of beauty.

    I dable in it all, painting, print making, sewing, embroidery, installation...all for my quest of injecting a little daily magic into my life and yours. I earned my MFA from PAFA in 2008. I'm pretty chatty when excited, cheeky, and always knitting.

*NOTE: Special holiday shipping!*

In order to ensure a speedy turn around most of my work is currently set to ship PRIORITY in a medium flat rate envelope. The cost is about $2 more but is actually cheaper than regular shipping for those who order more than 1 item. (makes sense?)

Domestic orders: Last day to order a MADE to ORDER piece in order to receive it in time for Christmas is DEC 15th and International customers is November 30th.

Ready to ship DOMESTIC is Dec 18th.

~~~~~~~~
Artwork in sealed in a special plastic bag and shipped in a protective sturdy envelope.
Garlands are wrapped and then sealed in a plastic bag before being sent in a paper envelop. * NOTE garland packaging is meant to be reusable so save it in order to rewrap and store your garland for future use. ; )
For extra speedy requests (I need it by such and such date) There will be an additional charge to cover faster shipping. Convo me for an accurate price.
