It's a family affair! Harvesting shishito pepper seeds!
The goal is to get more than half of our daily meals from the garden!
The girls are a part of the family, although lately they've been in timeout for getting in the gardens.
We grow outdoor in soil and in our aquaponics system. We also grow in soil AND in our hydroponics system indoor

We help solve tomorrow's problems with today's lifestyle

The ultimate goal of GreenDesert.org is to make a self sufficient lifestyle with zero waste practical for our society. We explore these principles in a sustainable residential home in the city of Phoenix and an off grid shipping container home in Texas!

We are dedicated to leaving less of a carbon footprint by mimicking nature and that includes growing our own food.

We harvest all of our seeds by hand, then share them with you on our Etsy site!
All of our seeds are GMO-FREE, untreated and open-pollinated.

We harvest our seeds on a regular basis so if you are looking for particular seeds that you don't see in our shop, just ask... chances are we have them!
