5 out of 5 starsI cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop owner! First of all, and jewelry is amazing. But I had some issues with UPS delivery, not the shops fault, but she was so amazing and offered to help and work with me to make sure I got what I needed. And I did!!! Excellent customer service!

Living a vintage inspired creative life.
I love to sew, create and decorate my home with the vintage and antique items that I find. I have always been attracted to their patina and beauty. Often discarded and worn, I want to bring a new life to them. It is recycling at its best. It is a lifestyle.
I live in a lovely log home in the woods just below Olympic National Park on the Olympic Peninsula in the beautiful state of Washington, USA. I love living here. This setting really inspires my creativity and is a great place to display and enjoy my collections of vintage and antique treasures.
I love to create beautiful and useful things. I have so many projects going all the time. I love to sew, knit, crochet, embroider, bead, make jewelry, dolls, and paper crafts. I also collect vintage ephemera and textiles (and anything else that catches my eye), decorate, garden, cook, spend time with loved ones and enjoy nature. I wish I had more time to do it all.
I have been doing most of these things since childhood, but somehow took a detour when I went to college. I ended up with a degree in biology and chemistry and worked in the environmental field for about 20 years until I knew that I needed a change. I needed to spend more time being creative. My husband and daughter and I moved to the Pacific Northwest and bought our log home in the woods. Our second daughter was born about 9 months later. Now I have two dream jobs. One is running my Etsy shop and the other is working as a teacher in a preschool class at one of the best private schools on the Olympic Peninsula: Five Acre School.
Green Leaves was the name of my grandparents and then fathers property in California that I loved so much when I was growing up. I have so many happy family memories there and this is where I started my love of creating and collecting. It seemed fitting to name my shop after it.
Well, I am off to try my best to live a good life. Thank you for your interest in my shop.
