Myself and my dad are proud owners of three of Gretel's beautiful needle felted toys. Knowing the high standard of her work and the love and care that she puts into it, I was excited to find this kit and decided to introduce my auntie to a new craft and gift this to her for Christmas. I obviously haven't opened it but the presentation is so pretty and I just know that the quality will be fantastic.

I've eyed these little geese for a while, I'm so glad to call one of them my own now. Gretel makes such beautiful and unique sculptures from wool, and sends them off in such lovely packaging, it's a delight to open.

Professional needle felter

I originally trained as an illustrator and for many years saw myself as an artist, but in 2008 I picked up a felting needle, made my first little rabbit toy and have not stopped felting since. My toys go to live all over the globe. They have even been featured in children's books, which mix my toy characters with my illustrations - just web search 'Mrs Mouse's Cupcakes' to find online sellers. Now I am concentrating on passing on what I've learned through workshops, kits and my first book. I am a regular contributor to the popular crafting magazines 'Craftseller' and 'Mollie Makes' and to their own range of books 'Mollie Makes Christmas' 'Mollie Makes Feathered Friends' and 'Mollie Makes Weddings'.

Spring 2014 saw the publication of my first needle felting book, containing 30 patterns, ranging from very easy to more advanced. It's published by Harper Collins and is available both in the UK and the USA. You can find it listed on Amazon, under the title 'Little Needle- Felt Animals' by Gretel Parker isbn 0062300814.

My prices reflect the many hours and days work put into the pieces, the absolute care I invest in everything I create, as well as reflecting my growing reputation as an professional artist and craftswoman.

I much prefer Paypal, but if you are in the United Kingdom or have a British bank account I will accept a cheque, in which case your item(s) will be sent out after it has cleared. If I have not received payment after 24 hours, I will contact you to make sure everything is ok, but if after that I get no reply, I will have to cancel the order.
