We love discovery and curiosity! Learning is so much better when participatory. We also have found so much discovery when we started learning about farming as it opened a lens into science, math, the environment and so much more!

We started with a podcast talking to farmers about their farms and the foods they produce. The curriculum we provide extends the podcasts and videos on our website (groundedbythefarm.com) to activities for students to do individually and in small groups.

The connections in food and farming involve English language arts, math, geography, science and more! We provide fun projects for students to do as they talk about foods that they may find in the local grocery store. There are additional tips for teachers and parents to consider if they want to expand some of the lessons in different ways, assessments & answer keys, etc.
