In Utero er'.. I mean the beginning.....

You know the story… I have been drawing, painting and writing since I found it possible. But I basically started by just illustrating various cards here and there and designing my own Christmas cards and then it began to evolve from there with requests for cards and expectations for a new card each year at Christmas. (oh the pressure!) My biggest fan was Gladys Tenney who supported me and encouraged me. I don't think she bought a single store bought card for years. I quickly adopted her as my grammie. :) ♥♥♥
Then.... well, I discovered sculpting in college.. And then a professor discovered I may have knack for this sculpting thing.. Needless to say, I put it on the back burner and got a job.. you know, just wanting to go through life in disguise. But the artistic flow just kept bubbling up.. and I really wanted to just be an artist. But the electric company said I had to pay the bill or it would be "lights out!". So... I finished my AA with a fine arts focus and took more classes off and on. I began dabbling in pottery and selling at shows here and there… and that little nagging voice (no, not my husband, but my heart) kept on saying more, more, more… But alas, I am a big chicken!! So…
I work AND create.. and the web lets me connect to people like you and show off my creations! This is fabulous and I am truly grateful.
When "just me" became "WE", my angels and I just began creating together and working on different projects. (After they could be trusted not to eat the art supplies, of course.)
And now with all this web stuff, we have the outlet we’ve always wanted. We all still get very excited when we get a sale. It’s that validation we have been waiting for! I mean who doesn’t want to be loved, right?
So off we go to the next big project! Away mess makers, away!!!!!

I am many things. We are many things. But most importantly we are creatively bonded. My darling angels and I are artists that really get involved in our work. We each have our special niche and enjoy being creative together.

  • Me

    Maker, Head Mess Maker

This is me as I like to be... I have been studying and dabbling in Fine Arts for many, many, many years. I have continued my studies as much as possible with a dash of this and a dibble of that. Never stop learning, exploring and experimenting.
