Grumpy Goose Designs started the way most good ideas do: with a very specific feeling and too much creative energy. I've always loved vintage illustration and animals that look like they've had enough of everyone's nonsense. One day those two things crashed into each other, the Grumpy Goose happened, and I couldn't stop there.
The crew assembled pretty naturally after that. There's a frog who is technically fine but not thrilled about it. A raccoon who found your leftovers and doesn't feel even slightly bad. A skunk with exactly zero apologies to make. And an opossum who is playing dead and sincerely hoping you walk away. They're all here, all grumpy, and all extremely on-brand.
WHAT WE MAKE
Each character gets three original designs - a mascot portrait, a vintage badge style, and a quote-driven piece - so you can find the exact version of the energy that speaks to you. Everything gets printed on genuinely comfortable basics: T-shirts, long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and mugs.
The style sits somewhere between vintage screen print and modern cartoon - bold outlines, warm earthy tones, the kind of design that looks like it's been around for decades even though it just showed up. Cream beige, deep navy, burnt orange. No pastels, no cartoon pink. Just a vibe that's a little bit retro and a lot grumpy.
HOW IT'S MADE
Every single item is made to order through our print-on-demand partner, Printful. That means your hoodie gets printed specifically for you - not pulled from a shelf somewhere - and we're not sitting on a pile of unsold inventory quietly panicking. Fresh print, quality fabric, shipped straight to you.
Production takes 2–5 business days, then shipping adds another 3–5 business days for US orders. We know that's not Amazon Prime speed - but it's the trade-off for something made just for you, and most customers tell us it's absolutely worth the wait.
