Superb. I ordered this with a customization request for white glaze outside and bright red glaze inside. Paul informed me he didn't have a bright red but that he would get one. I volunteered to pay extra but was refused. Since he hadn't worked with this particular glaze before, he fired it up on a separate piece and provided pictures so I could also see how it looked. Everything looked great so I gave him the green light to execute my request. Finally got my shaving bowl and it's fantastic - the texture at the bottom easily creates a ton of lather and isn't sharp enough to shred your brush. It's a bit hefty since it's a big bowl but with that, none of your lather will fly out. Your brush will also fall in if you lean in but the handle serves as a brush rest. I use a Simpsons Trafalgar (T3) and it fits. I love this bowl.
