I like it, but it is much smaller than the Yunomis that I like to buy. I thought the price was great, but I would not have bought it had I known the size. More like a sake cup. I have other works by Jeff Guerrero and he does very nice work.

This customer only buys my pieces when they're on clearance, and is the only customer who's ever left anything less than 5 stars.

About

Handmade Functional Pottery from Pittsburgh

I started working at an arts center some years ago, and shortly there after I started making pottery. I've been fortunate enough to work alongside some great artists and learn from a variety of master potters. Early in my ceramics journey I spent a month in close contact with a 14th generation Japanese potter who specialized in tea ware.

As a result, I'm highly influenced by Japanese pottery, and I am a student of Japanese tea ceremony (licensed by the Urasenke school). I also enjoy creating a variety of utilitarian forms and I occasionally create very commercial-oriented pieces that incorporate ceramic decals.

My mentors include the executive director of NCECA, the founder of Manchester Craftsmen's Guild, one unbelievably knowledgable graduate of Alfred University, and a professor we affectionately call Greeny.

*I'm also on Etsy as Jeff Guerrero with a shop named GuerreroDesign where I sell laser cut wood lamps and more.

I enjoy making functional pottery, and employ a handful of construction methods but focus predominantly on the potter's wheel.
