An underpainting. Before I used color, I chose to do a monochrome study of line and value. -
Evolution of a painting commission. After visiting and photographing a location. I drew out the composition in paint. -
Quite a few stages later, painting is in a final state. When I can't push further, I must be "done", -
A large painting I did many moons ago while a graduate student. Very textured and graffiti inspired.

I’ve been an artist for as long as I remember. I actually can’t think of a starting point. I majored in art in college and earned an MFA in painting. In my paintings, I am focusing on my love of the urban city and figurative street scenes.
