Welcome! I'm addicted to shinies and it was no doubt inevitable that I'd want to make shinies. After awhile, I decided that I want to share them with the world.

I've been described as 'Too Creative For My Own Good' by a number of friends and I have to agree.

What might you find here?

Origami critters.
Etched glass and mirror creations.
Knit and crocheted items.
Sewn items.
Quited things.
Random Oddities That I Create.

My muse is named Emily and I hope that you at least enjoy looking at the creations that she inspires me to make.

If you have any questions, please convo and I'll be happy to help you out as much as possible.

Accepted payment methods

  • Money Order
  • Check
Returns and exchanges
The pictures are the actual item that you will be receiving. All items are sold as-is; refunds will only be issued on a case-by-case basis and the defective item must be returned prior to the refund being issued.

No refunds will be issued for custom-made items.

In the event that your jewelry is chewed on by your dog, used to plug a leak by your spouse, or run over by your child's tricycle, the damages might be repairable, at customer cost (including shipping both directions). Glass items can't be repaired -- once it's broken, it's pretty much broken.
I accept several forms of payment:

Money Order
Check (package will not be mailed until the check has cleared)

If you haven't sent payment within three days, I will contact Etsy and cancel the transaction (unless you have made a prior arrangement with me).

If you are going to pay with an echeck, remember that it takes 5-7 days to clear and I won't ship until it has cleared (just like with a paper check).
For US orders:

Orders will be packaged up and shipped via USPS First Class mail within 2-5 business days after payment has been received. I won’t start to process your order until I’ve received payment, for the protection of both seller and buyer.

If you’d like to upgrade your order to priority mail or add delivery confirmation and/or insurance, please leave a note to the seller and I’ll send you an invoice for the additional charges. I’m not responsible for packages that the buyer chooses to have mailed without delivery confirmation or insurance.

If you are ordering multiple items and your shipping total reaches the level needed for a flat-rate box, I will ship your order in the cheapest flat-rate priority box that it will fit in and refund you for any extra shipping that you paid.

Please note that I ship to the address provided on your Paypal account. Please double check to verify that the shipping address is correct and current – I can’t be responsible for packages sent to incorrect or outdated addresses. If a package is returned to me because of an error in the address provided to me, the buyer will be responsible for the charges to reship the package.

For international orders:

Orders are processed and shipped within 4-7 days. Because I need to get to the post office when the counter is open in order to send international packages and my ‘day job’ keeps me busy from 7am until 4pm most weekdays, it can take a bit longer for me to mail internationally. If the time will go beyond the 7 days, I will contact the buyer to let you know about the delay.

All international orders will be shipped via USPS First Class international mail unless otherwise arranged with me prior to the order being placed. Insurance and delivery confirmation cannot be provided for international orders. I cannot be responsible for international packages.

International mail can take anywhere from 3 days to 5 to 6 weeks to arrive. Please be aware of this when you place your order.

Regarding customs: I cannot be responsible for packages that get stuck in customs. I also will not lie on a customs form – items will be marked ‘other’ and labeled with an appropriate description and value. Buyer is responsible for all custom fees and taxes that may apply.
Additional policies and FAQs
Question: What materials are used?
Answer: Please see the item description for the exact materials used. You may find wire of several types, glass, wood, stone, pearls, fabric, sequins, or many other materials in the items in this shop.

Question: What about commissions?
Answer: I will happily accept custom orders. Upon payment of a minimum 50% non-refundable down-payment, (100% for any customized item such as names, birthstones, or another custom option that cannot be simply placed into general stock, such as wedding items), I will begin work on your piece. Most pieces can be completed and mailed within 1-3 weeks at the present time. The remainder plus shipping is due upon the completion of the piece. If you change your mind about colors/materials/etc after work has begun, a fee will be charged for each change.
