HATIRA means "memory" in Turkish--as a musician, educator, traveler and flea-market devotee, I've long been attracted to objects with experience, memory, and history. I'm excited to share a curated collection with you all, here. New items added frequently!

About

Traditional textiles, collected objects, vintage jewelry, handmade body care.

I grew up going to the local flea market with my family every Sunday. The flea market is a perfect metaphor for the way my life has unfolded, a collection of interrelated passions often ignited by chance encounters.

I began making body balms for myself a few years ago, after becoming frustrated with commercial products full of alcohol, water, and chemicals. The stuff I made yielded great results, and I started giving it to family and friends as gifts. When they started sending me messages saying "please, I need more of that STUFF!!!", I decided to start also selling it at my performances.

While traveling abroad for music, I collect vintage textiles and objects, in addition to collaborating with traditional artisans in Turkey.

I'm happy to share an assortment of collected, handmade objects and products, as well as copies of my most recent musical albums.
