About

Welcome to Honduras Children's Project's Etsy Store -- here you will find our "trashy products" and traditional handmade Honduran items.

All proceeds benefit Honduras Children's Project -- a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the education for the children of Copprome Orphanage in El Progreso, Honduras by providing them with an educational after-school program and by supporting the public elementary school they attend with basic school supplies. For more information, please visit www.honduraschildrensproject.org.

"Trashy Products" are the latest trend. People of Villa Soleada, located in El Progreso, Honduras, work tirelessly to pick up trash off the streets, and turn it into attractive handbags. Villa Soleada is a village in rural Honduras, where work is often difficult to come by. The proceeds from your purchase both provide them with their daily sustenance and directly benefit Honduras Children's Project.

Our traditional Honduran products include items purchased in a traditional open-air market in Honduras. They include bracelets, necklaces, hacky-sacks, table-runners/sashes, and genuine leather belts.
