5 out of 5 starsThis is the second blanket I’ve ordered. My daughter loves hers and I knew when I was expecting another that I had to get another. Shipping was fast and the blanket is beautiful. We are still using the first one 5 years later and it looks amazing.

Screen printing is one of the new things I learned right before opening my shop and one of my new passions.

Hand-lettered awesome-ness from my heart to your hands
HowJoyfulShop is a mom-operated endeavor by Joy Kelley, Chilean designer and hand-lettering artist. After falling in love, I moved to sunny Southern California where I now run my studio, with the help of my husband and the distraction of my 3 year old and 6 month old sons.
I have always been in love with creating products with my hands, so finally, in January of 2013 I decided that it was time to start committing to my passion and add products to the shop I had started in 2010 and kept in the dark. 2013 was the year of pursuing my dream job. The plan was to put my "money-maker web-design" job aside and bring to light hand-lettering, a hobby and passion I started exercising while in college.
My sketching process begins as I get inspired by nature, messages and letterforms. Each piece is refined, sketched and inked with love and the final product is a little piece of my imagination on paper. After the artwork is complete, I scan and make additional edits on the computer and finally set it on whatever medium I am using.
Everything is made with love, from my hands to yours. You can always check on my latest adventures and sketches via instagram ( @howjoyful) www.instagram.com/howjoyful
Thanks for stopping by my shop and have a lovely day!
