    Returns and exchanges

    The following items can't be returned or exchanged
    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
    • Custom or personalized orders
    • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
    • Digital downloads
    • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

    Your satisfaction is very important to us, so if you have any questions or problems, please be sure to contact us immediately.

    Exchanges

    Please let us know if an item does not arrive so that we can contact UPS and get the problem resolved. Please contact us within 7 days of the time your package should have arrived.

    If your item arrives damaged:
    • Contact us within 7 days of receipt.

    • Please send us photos of the box and damaged item in convo along with a detailed description of the damage.

    • Please don’t send anything back until you hear from us.

    • In most cases you will be reimbursed for return shipping and we will ship you a replacement item.

    • Please note that all of our items are handmade and each will have variations in finish, welds, shaping and other fine details. These unique characteristics are not considered damage.

    • If for some reason you receive an undamaged item and are truly unhappy please contact us to discuss possible store credit or refund.

    Refunds

    Refunds are given at the discretion of HLJ Photography-Heather L. J. Wells. Returns will only be available under extenuating circumstances and are evaluated on a case by case basis.

    Please contact us within 7 days of receipt to discuss possible refund or store credit.

    Any approved returns will be subject to the following terms.
    • Returned products must be received in as-new condition and received within 7 days of refund approval.

    • Order will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus original shipping charges.

    • Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility as is insuring that the item arrives in as-new condition.

    • Credit for the adjusted amount will be issued after returned item has been received and inspected.
    Payment
    We currently accept all Major credit/debit cards and Etsy gift cards thru Etsy Direct Checkout.

    Payment is expected at the time of purchase.

    No paper invoice is included in your package. You can find your digital invoice on the Etsy website under "your account" and in your mail box after ordering.
    Shipping
    • All US shipments will be sent via UPS GROUND. . We ship only to US addresses at this time. If you are an International Customer and would like to purchase please convo us, so we can provide a shipping cost and estimate.

    • For customers who live in the Portland Metro area of Oregon area and want to save on shipping please convo us before your purchase and we will provide a free shipping code and make arrangements for you to pick up your item(s).

    • Packages are shipped within 2-5 business days after payment has been received.

    • All US shipments will be tracked and insured with UPS Tracking.

    • UPS delivery typically takes 2-5 days but is not guaranteed.

    • Prints and framed pieces are wrapped in brown kraft paper then nestled in a box with packing peanuts to ensure safe, damage free delivery.

    • Safe delivery is our number one priority and as a result we do not offer gift wrapping.

    • We will send orders to the address listed on your Etsy Account by default, unless another address is preferred and has been requested by you in advance.

    • Customers who enter an incorrect address at checkout will be responsible for all costs associated with re-shipment. Sorry.

    • If you would like to ship to someone as a gift Etsy will provide a field where you can enter the shipping address you would like the package to go to. Be sure to leave us a message at the same time saying what you would like your gift message to read otherwise how will they know this beautiful gift is from you? We do not offer gift wrap as the safe delivery of your item is our priority.

    • Shipping confirmation and Tracking information will be sent to the email on your Etsy account. Please be sure this address is correct.

    • No paper invoice is included in your package. You can find your digital invoice on the Etsy website under "your account" and in your mail box after ordering.

    • Please let us know if an item does not arrive so that we can contact the postal service and get the problem resolved. Please contact us within 5 days of the time your package should have arrived.
