Welcome to my collection of MINIATURE animals and WEE folk! Most of my creations are VERY SMALL, .75 - 1.50 inches in size, and would be a great addition to fairy gardens. I hand sculpt and create all kinds of polymer clay beings, usually constructed over glass marbles, both fantasy and 'regular'- (more "realistic!).
I DO NOT mold my creations nor do I purchase items to resell or to alter or paint and then resell.

5 out of 5 starsPatricia did her usual fabulous job on creating my kitties out of marbles. It is such a great way of having likenesses of my kitties because I collect marbles too. The kitties look far cuter than any of the marbles I own. I highly recommend this seller and store. She does such a fabulous job on making these miniature kitties have all the special details your pet has. A+++++ Thank you so much!

ABOUT MY MINIATURE SCULPTURES AND FIGURINES:
My polymer clay miniatures animals are friendly little rotund critters with a glass marble core (in various sizes,) that can adorn your drab office desk or computer monitor.
There are HUNDREDS of types and colors of animals immediately available in stock, from Aardvarks to Zebras and so many more.
The shiny marble interior can be viewed in a small hole in the bottom of each miniature. The colors used are almost always polymer clay and NOT painted on. However, some spots, stripes, and shadings on animals may be painted or dusted on in acrylic paint or chalks, respectively. Inclusions of sands or fibers may be added to the clay to indicate rough or furry texture. The colors of the animals are made to be generally realistic and based on research for each particular animal. Colors may show up differently on different monitors, however.
My stock animals are made in groups, which are all very similar within the group, but do vary slightly in size and detail, so the miniature received may not be exactly like the one pictured. If there is a large change in appearance when making a new group of an animal, new pictures will be taken and be indicative of the current stock.
SIZE:
Most of my animals are quite SMALL - around or less than the size of a quarter, or a cubic inch. There are a few exceptions, and I try to indicate this in the descriptions. Most polymer clay animals have a glass marble core of varying sizes.
I CAN make custom orders of my designs in larger sizes, with body cores of 1"- almost 3". Just contact me for a discussion! I occasionally offer larger sizes as the mood strikes me.
"SOLD OUT"
If an item has "sold out" after the option, that means I need to make another series/group of them and restock. If you wish to purchase a "sold out" item, you can contact me to tell me you're interested; that animal will be put at the front of my 'to do' queue to be created and restocked. You will be informed as soon as they are available!
A "sold out" item COULD be a OneOfAKind (OoaK) item displayed within a group of similar items...which I will NOT be making for general sale again... however, I could make it as a CUSTOM order, if desired, (with the custom upcharge... see below)
Most of the unadorned cats are OoaKs!
If you don't see an animal you want, let me know, I'm sure I can make it!
The animals DON'T have to be realistic.
CUSTOM ORDERS M.U.S.T. BE ORDERED BY CONTACTING ME OR REQUESTING A CUSTOM ORDER. There are link boxes on each page (3 on the main page) to access messaging to me.
A CUSTOM ORDER will NOT be filled IF THE CUSTOMER ORDERS DIRECTLY FROM REGULAR LISTINGS and then expects me to make one with changes. The customer will be refunded their order payment, and encouraged to order through the advised method.
CUSTOM ORDERS changing the colors of an existing design style (like a green giraffe with pink spots, for example), or creating a new type of animal entirely, will have a 25% increase in price added to the base price of a regular similar, in stock item. (A single miniature being created alone takes much more time spent per unit, when not using my regular assembly line production method,)
I am no longer making detailed realistic sculptural depictions of animals/ faces (formally known as "PET PORTRAITS", and were charged at 50% more.)
However, differing colors or specific markings of your pet can be applied on a regular stock type/style designed animal (using provided pet pictures for reference,) and can be requested at the 25% custom increase in price.
After the first photos of the mini, with my interpretation of a discussed custom order are posted for approval, I will tweak the item only 2 times, if the customer is dissatisfied. Complete revisions will not occur. Since no money has changed hands, the order will simply be cancelled.
If there are any changes desired beyond two, the custom price will be increased to 50% above regular stock price. This is to account for the extra work and time involved.
The customer can agree to the increase in price (before any extra changes) or cancel the order.
Payment is not due until pictures of the completed request have been accepted as satisfactory, and the customer has been billed. Custom orders will usually be completed within TWO to THREE WEEKS, barring complications, and then mailed within 1-3 business days after the sale (billing and payment) has been completed.
The artist can also cancel the order at any point before shipmenrt. Any payment already made would be fully refunded.
If a cancellation by the customer occurs AFTER their approval, payment, and mailing has occurred, the customer can refuse delivery of the package BEFORE OPENING IT upon its delivery in order to return it, writing 'RETURN TO SENDER." HOWEVER, if the package has been opened, the only way to return it is POST PAID BY CUSTOMER, repacked in its ORIGINAL CONDITION and for product price refund only, once the return arrives and is inspected and found to be in its original condition.
The COMPLETION TIME of intricate, and/or larger items, such as wedding cake toppers, or large quantities of miniatures will be unique to each order and will have to be discussed in an ongoing conversation.
BEYOND MINIATURE SCULPTURES:
Special animal requests can be made such as proportionate pets for doll houses, birthday candle holders, wedding cake toppers, lamp finials, fan pull chains, knobs, animal pens, jewelry (earrings, pins, pendants)...Any pricing would be based on existing styles, with a custom mark-up.
I am no longer taking/ making DONATIONS to non-profits for fundraising auctions (citing exposure and future sales,)
NO LICENSED CHARACTERS, LOGOS, OR PROPERTIES WILL BE DEPICTED, unless an agreement has been legally obtained. Currently only one license is active, that for the copyrighted property of Wasp Eaters, from Airship Entertainment / Studio Foglio, LLC.
I do not depict inanimate objects, other than the occasional plant, and do not sculpt people, other than some fantastical ones!
I, Patricia Edmonds, am the sole artist of these miniatures. My son assists in some site maintenance, as well as packing and shipping.
These crafts are made and stored in a smoke-free home. I do however, have cats!

I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations
The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Returns and exchange details
If cancellation of an order occurs after shipment, (and upon its subsequent return, wrapped well and in one piece, able to be resold,)- the merchandise price ONLY will be refunded upon receipt - not the original shipping charges. Return shipping charge also is to be paid by purchaser.
Exchanges follow the same parameters. New merchandise of equal value will be sent once the initial order is returned, in one piece, able to be resold. All shipping charges (initial order, return, and resend of exchange) will be paid by the purchaser.
Care will be taken by our shop in packing for shipping; however, on rare occasion, breakage can still occur. Simple breakage along part ‘seam’ lines can easily fixed with a dab of gel superglue by the customer.
However, if purchaser wishes to have a replacement item of the same item, they must attach a picture of the broken item in a conversation and a replacement will then be sent, asap, free of charge. If an incorrect item is sent through our mistake, the same procedure will be utilized. Broken or mistakenly sent items need not be returned as return postage is so high for such small ticket items. Our shop will bear the loss.
However, and again:
Returns due to a customer's change of mind will have the only merchandise price refunded, and not the original shipping charges (once the item has been returned in resale condition, with return shipping paid for by the customer.)
Payment
Shipping
Once receipt of payment has been made:
Items pictured in the shop have been put aside and are immediately available and will be shipped within 3-5 business days. We check for sales at least once a day. We usually ship out twice a week - more often closer to the holidays. If you need an item mailed more quickly, please add a note and we can expedite handling and mailing from our shop, but no guarantees on actual arrival time are given. Generally, once we submit a package to USPS, it arrives at its destination in 3-5 days. However, for unknown reasons, shipping times to the North Eastern states of the USA often take longer than to the rest of the country. (We are located in the center of the country - in Missouri.)
Also please remember, , mail has been slowed and often stalled within the Postal system due to Postal employee absences due to Covid 19 and the disastrous changes (IMHO) made within the USPS system over the summer of 2020.
We are NOT responsible for items that are sent to the wrong address due to a buyer's mistake when ordering. If the mistaken address is discovered before shipment, a change can easily be made, and the product shipped to the newly stated address.
Any wrong address that is not fixed prior to shipment will not get a refund or be replaced and shipped- unless the USPS returns it back to me as undeliverable. If this occurs, the buyer will be contacted to make a choice of a refund of the item's sale price (not the S&H charge) or a resend, with a new S&H charge, which the customer will have to pay for.
