House of Harlot is a company of designers and skilled artisans who manufacture fabulous garments, specialising in Latex rubber. The label was begun in 1991, by Robin and Michelle Archer. For the past twenty years, Robin Archer has been designing and making fetish fashions in rubber, leather and other luxury materials.
In 1995, while putting together a team for Skin Two’s then latex garment company, he met and trained several members of his current staff. In 1997, House of Harlot began in earnest as a wholesale latex garment manufacturer, selling to stores from L.A to New York, London to Dusseldorf and Tokyo to Sydney, as well as continuing to produce its world reknowned custom-made individual costumes.
These days, our output is more varied than ever, with an increasingly diverse customer base and demands. We continue to supply the world fetish scene with outstanding rubber garments, as well as working with high-fashion brands like Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior on special pieces for catwalk shows in Paris, London and New York, celebrities in music and media, and anyone with a taste for the unusual and exceptional.
All prices are shown in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).
EU Countries: VAT (SALES TAX) is charged at the British Rate of 20% as per EU regulations. The VAT (SALES TAX) is charged at checkout to all applicable items.
NON-EU Countries: All prices are exclusive of shipping and local taxes and import duties.
House of Harlot delivers worldwide. In the UK we deliver by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Outside the UK we ship either by Royal Mail Airsure or by Fedex or equivalent courier for extra speed when required. This is a more expensive option, but is recommended for high value orders.
Payments: Payment is required on order.
We are pleased to offer payment through PayPal and Direct Checkout using all major credit cards.
Paypal do not forward your card information to us, we are however able to make refunds using these same systems when necessary.
All orders are securely packed and sent in discreet plain packaging for your privacy and reassurance. House of Harlot are committed to recycling whenever possible and therefore you may receive your order in a box that has been re-used but is still clean, sturdy and suitable to be used again.
All House of Harlot and Torture Garden Design garments are individually hand made to your order and take time to create. We aim to ship all items within a practical timeframe, but please allow up to 28 days for dispatch. There can be mitigating circumstances which can add to delivery time, such as unavailability of raw materials, or extremely busy periods of the year. We will keep you informed of any delays.

Orders can be collected in person, if you choose. If this option is selected, you will not be charged shipping. Failure to collect after 6 months however will result in the disposal of the items by whatever means, without refund or credit.
If you need your order by a specific date, please inform us and we will do what we can to comply. If we cannot meet your deadline we will inform you and discuss. We can usually organise our production schedule to comply.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns and Exchanges: If there is a problem with your order, you must inform us upon receipt of the items. Any returns which are simply not required any more, change of heart, or similar reason will be refunded subject to a 30% handling and restocking charge. Delivery costs will not be refunded.
If you order the wrong size, please return the item for exchange in a correct size. You will pay for the re-postage costs.
All returns will only be accepted if still in a new condition with no signs of wear and in original packaging within seven days of delivery.
You must inform us immediately of any faulty or damaged garments and they must be returned within 48 hours of delivery for repair or replacement. Any faults of production will be corrected at no cost.
House of Harlot will not be held responsible for damage caused by misuse or poor care of garments.
Any custom made or made-to-measure orders are not returnable or refundable. Any faults or problems which are caused by information supplied on order can be discussed and remedied. We will endeavour to correct any problems to your satisfaction. There may be discretionary surcharges for these corrections.
Please ensure that all measurements sent are accurate when ordering. Any faults as a result of poor supplied measures are not the responsibility of House of Harlot. We will do our best to correct.
Returning an Item: Contact us in writing first within seven days of delivery to let us know about the reason for your return and ensure that you send it by a fully traceable delivery service, as House of Harlot cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit. If you are returning items from outside of the UK, clearly state on all documentation and customs declarations that all items contained in the package are returns to the manufacturer for alteration/return. House of Harlot will not pay any duties or taxes on returned goods, and this may result in the loss or return to you of the items.
Items Damaged in Shipping: It will be your responsibility to inform us immediately of any damage to the delivered goods. Details must be recorded on the delivery documentation, and we must be notified no later than 48 hours after delivery. It is imperative that you do not dispose of any of the packaging as this will be required to effect the claim against the carrier.
Incorrect Items: Notify us of any incorrectly supplied orders within 24 hours of delivery. If the goods are not what you ordered, DO NOT try on or use the items. We will not exchange or refund for any used garments.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR LATEX GARMENTS.
HANDWASH ONLY. USE LUKEWARM WATER WITH MILD WASHING-UP LIQUID DETERGENT ONLY.
AFTER WASHING FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES, RINSE, AND HANG UP TO DRIP DRY ON A PLASTIC OR WOODEN HANGER. AVOID ALL CONTACT WITH METALS WHEN WET.
ONCE DRY, SEPARATE ANY LAYERS WHICH ARE STUCK TOGETHER, AND SPRINKLE TALCUM POWDER/BABY POWDER OVER THE GARMENT. THIS PREVENTS THE SURFACES STICKING TOGETHER.
ONCE DRY AND TALCED, STORE ON A GARMENT HANGER INSIDE A GARMENT BAG, IDEALLY OF BLACK POLYTHENE PLASTIC, IN A DARK WARDROBE.
KEEP AWAY FROM SUNLIGHT, ESPECIALLY DIRECT SUNLIGHT. LONG TERM
EXPOSURE TO ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT CAUSES LATEX TO BREAKDOWN CHEMICALLY. CAUSING LOSS OF SHINY SURFACE.
DO NOT BRING INTO CONTACT WITH COPPER BASED METALS OR NICKEL BASED METALS. THESE WILL CAUSE A BROWN STAIN ON THE PALER COLOURS, AND ALSO START A CHEMICAL BREAKDOWN ON ALL COLOURS OF RUBBER, CAUSING LOSS OF SHINY SURFACE. COPPER IS FOUND IN BRASS AND IN SOME JEWELLERY, SUCH AS BODY JEWELLERY, AS WELL AS IN BRONZING AGENT MAKE UPS, AND OF COURSE IN MONEY COINS.
DO NOT PUT IN A WASHING MACHINE.
DO NOT USE SOAP POWDER.
DO NOT DRY CLEAN.
DO NOT EXPOSE TO OILS. TO MAKE THE RUBBER SHINY USE SILICON SPRAY, AND USE SILICON BASED LUBRICANTS.
