Handmade Designer Latex Clothing for Women & Men
House of Harlot was formed in 1991 by Robin and Michelle Archer, the brand name was inspired by wanting to sound like an old school couture label, like Dior, while including the cheeky frisson of sexual provocation. Inspired by the illustrations of John Willie, Eric Stanton and Allen Jones, and the physiques of Ava Gardner, Sophia Loren and Jayne Mansfield, House of Harlot seeks to make flesh the humorous kinky comic book fantasies of fetish illustrators.
House of Harlot is a well established brand in the worldwide fetish and fashion community, with clients on all continents, (except Antarctica). We have been specialising in latex collage (yes its glued not stitched) since 1993, but continue to produce custom work in other fabrics like leather and plastics when asked. We have always produced a high quality, well tailored and immaculately manufactured garments, and have recently been seeing a lot of success with highly complex, technical Catsuits and Dresses, featuring built in corsetry.
We have produced for some of the biggest names in high fashion, like Dior, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Thierry Mugler, Victoria's Secret and Oscar de la Renta, to name but a few. We have also worked with film studios and television, making costumes for productions as varied as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Doom, Film 4, Glyndebourne Opera, and we are currently working on Terry Gilliam's new movie, The Zero Theorem.
But our focus, and forte, has always been the latex fetishists dream product, ranging from the classic catsuit to the more elaborate decorated uniform style. We have been the originators of many fetish trends, and much copied, and expect to be in the future. We make for both men and women with an emphasis on classic tailoring, personal service and customer satisfaction. All our items are hand-made by our experienced and skilled team in our London studio to exacting standards, and we only sell what we make ourselves, apart from a few moulded gloves. we also manufacture the Torture Garden Clothing range of latex garments, that we also distribute exclusively.
