Hi There! Please allow me to introduce myself! I'm Roxanne, a mother to 3 wild children, a wife, Soccer Coach, Girl Scout leader and founder of HSD Backdrops and Hazy Skies Designs, my proudest roles. I'm a Southern California native, who gave up the fast-paced life, to live in a small town outside of Boise, Idaho. When I'm not in the office, I can be found on a soccer field or leading a group of wonderful Girl Scouts. My weekends are spent going to my kid’s games or taking my troop hiking, camping, cave exploring, horseback riding.... somewhere outside exploring the beautiful state of Idaho.
HSD Backdrops was born in our bonus room in the spring of 2014, after over a year of hard work and research. Named after our photoshop template company (Hazy Skies Designs), the store was created to offer photographers unique, high quality photography backdrops. Soon after launch, we realized there was great demand for our backdrops, and we quickly outgrew our bonus room - moving to a larger building and then finally to where we are now, a warehouse just a few miles from our home. We also work with a wonderful production partner, to help us fulfill some of our orders.
We're a family owned business, husband and wife, and two of my brothers are on our staff of artists. When you purchase a backdrop from HSD Backdrops, you're not only supporting a family business, but artists as well.
