HalfPennyBoutique's Shop Announcement

Half-Penny Boutique & Consignment¹, offers upscale consignment of vintage, antiques and historical items, handmade goods, homemade recipes, handmade gifts and accessories, supplies for crafting, sewing and beading projects. HPB, also offers, a section of "Dollar Closeouts". Welcome to My Shop !!

Over the years, I learned how to make beaded jewelry, holiday or all occasion gifts, table runners, creative pillows, animals and dolls for my children; learned about, my favorite, the collection of glassware and pottery. I have been a collector of glassware and pottery for over 39 years. I enjoy finding unique pieces of glassware from the Civil War and Depression years, stemming from the late 1800’s to 1930-1945. Anything after these dates is considered replicas of the earlier years. I find my unique pieces in flea markets (wherever I go), estate or tag sales and yard or garage sales in my own neighborhoods.
My upscale consignment segment of this website is strictly researched for authenticity and true value to market or fair market value. Some of my items are unique, but yet, popular to the American population.

Established 2010, Half-Penny Boutique & Consignment is based on the belief that customers' needs and wants are of the utmost importance. My emphasis is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals where I offer a referral discount. I promote "prestigious" customer service to make the sale right the first-time. That's my promise and belief.
Half-Penny Boutique and Consignment welcomes the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the business.

¹ Half-Penny Boutique & Consignment was named from an Irish decimal coin currency. The halfpenny coin was the smallest denomination of the Irish pound which was decimalised on Decimal Day, February 15, 1971 it was one of three new designs introduced all in bronze. The coin suffered from the effects of inflation and very few were produced beyond the initial run for 1971. The coin was removed from circulation and demonetized on January 1, 1987. The coin was designed by the Irish artist Gabriel Hayes and the design is adapted from manuscript MS.213 in Cathedral Library in Cologne, Germany. The coin has a diameter of 1.7145 centimeters and mass of 1.782 grams consisting of copper, tin and zinc. The coin was 1/200 of an Irish Pound. Note: The 1985 halfpenny is particularly rare, and valuable to coin collectors - the vast majority of the 2.8 million were melted in 1987 - the 1986 coin was only produced for the 1986 specimen sets and is consequently scarce.
