The quality and description were great. However, I thought it would be bigger and heavier, and more substantial. I had seen it as a display in a store on Oahu, but it must have been $6000, if what I got was $1100.

We love our new koa wood Hawaiian Islands! Joshua is a true craftsman whose work is highly detailed, aesthetically beautiful, and geographically/topographically accurate. We've had nothing but awe-struck compliments from everyone who's seen the Islands displayed above our family room TV. I admit I wasn't quite mentally prepared for how small the smaller islands would be (Kahoʻolawe is literally just over 1" in length), but the relative dimensions are spot on. The included layout template is a huge help when hanging the set! Thank you, Joshua, for creating this beautiful work of art that allows us to share our love for Hawaii, its people, and its culture.

Amazing craftsmanship! The topographical details and accuracy were quite impressive. HamakuaWoodWorking shipped the set as stated and, each island was securely bundled and protected. The kit included all items necessary to easily install each piece. The map enhanced our current artwork very well.
