5 out of 5 starsI've waited over a month to post this. Dan is an A+++ seller. The watch came as advertised, it was beautiful and has kept accurate time. I will be back to purchase again in the future! A true piece of horological history.

5 out of 5 starsThis watch looks fantastic. It runs great and hopefully will last for another several decades.. Dan also put me in contact with a source for adjusting the bracelet since it didn't fit right out of the box.

About HamiltonChronicles
Time Measures, Spans and Connects Generations
Since ancient Greece, mankind has endeavored to accurately measure time. Man developed sundials, hour glasses and water clocks. Complex mathematical equations were derived to tell time from the position of the sun during the day and the stars during the night.
Accuracy was always an issue though, and it wasn't until the mid-1800's that "technology" had advanced to the point where accurate time keeping was within the reach of the common man.
Like everyone else, it seems, my interest in old watches was piqued when I inherited some family pieces. I was able to get some repaired. Others no one would touch - and that bugged me. So I learned how to do it myself.
I'm a self-taught watchmaker and I've restored over a thousand watches by now (and broken more than I'd like to admit.) The majority of my focus is on Hamiltons, which were originally manufactured about 30 miles from my home.
I've learned a lot from other generous collectors willing to share their knowledge and love for vintage Hamiltons. My experience has been a journey. That's why I started a blog to showcase my work, share information about individual models and to provide an outlet for this passionate hobby. And that's why it's called Hamilton Chronicles.
I'm a catch and release amateur watchmaker now. I like to restore past treasures to original form and help others to give these fine timepieces as gifts or fill holes in their collections. The watch's' original owners are long gone now - but I like to think that the sentiment in which each watch was originally presented will carry on as long as someone still values the vessel that carries it.

This offer excludes any damage caused by you by dropping the watch, tampering with the movement or other misuse. Please remember that vintage watches are delicate precision time pieces and should be kept away from water, sharp impacts, or strong magnets.
Please note the physical size of the watch, as written in the description, before your purchase. Vintage watches tend to be smaller than today's timepieces. I do not offer full refunds for buyer's remorse (the watch is too small, the gift recipient didn't like it, etc.). Any refund, if offered, will be reduced by any applicable fees or shipping costs incurred to send the watch to you originally. You must pay return shipping.
