We're watch collectors and specialize in restorations, parts, accessories, and watchmaker's tools. We also manufacture our own brand in limited quantities. Why Swiss?
Collectors consider vintage Swiss watches highly desirable because they produced the best hand-wound movements ever made. Experts also consider mint-condition Swiss watches rare and underpriced. When we finish restoring a vintage watch, it's usually in mint condition.
We consider our watches like fine jewelry. We pay particular attention to the dial, hands, and cases. For example, one of our 82-year-old timepieces looks like it did in the showroom, and it outperforms most contemporary watches.
We refurbish every movement to its original condition, replacing 1) the balance (complete) with an Elinvar Extra hairspring and 2) a new Dynavar original (alloy) mainspring, unavailable before 1948. We adjust all the jewels, use fresh synthetic oil, and check all pivots, plates, and screws. If we find anything needing replacement, we replace it.
Our lowest-priced watches are in excellent condition. You can tell by close examination of the photos. Notice the case back, movement, dial, and lack of wear.
Vintage watches offered today primarily attract collectors. Those watches will seem small if you really want a modern watch with a vintage look.
