On The Road to Hamster Hill...
I started collecting Blythe dolls in the spring of 2011. Around the same time I took a knitting class. I had wanted to learn to knit for the dolls but the tiny needs and yarn seemed overwhelming!
Then I ordered my first Middie Blythe doll. At the time there was not a lot of clothing out there for Middies. I found a patten and tried it out. That is where it all started.
As I knit more and more some people wanted to trade my knit wear for other items. I was shocked people liked my stuff! Then I decided to open my shop.
I wanted my shop name to reflect something about me and my life. Anyone who knows me knows I love my pet Hamsters! At the time I started I had Cupcake the Hamster, she helped me open my shop. Now Hammond has taken over helping and he is doing great. ;)
I know my knitting have gotten 200% better then when I started. I feel like I learn at little more with every tiny work of art I create!
Thank you for visiting!

Hello! My name is Heather and I am just a kid at heart! I love collecting dolls and toys. Having them around just makes me happy. I love to create beautiful tiny clothing. They feel like little works of art to me.

Maker, Curator, Shipping And Production
I am Richard Hammond the Hamster. I make the shop run smooth and I make sure everything ships out in time. This is sometimes difficult because I have tiny hamster hands and I am not allowed to use scissors...
