About Handarbete
-
After designing and calculating, start warping. Depending on the size and quality, it could be around 400 threads. -
Evenly place yarn by pre threading, beaming on to the loom, start threading to texsolv that makes pattern. -
Threading again to reed which determines the density. After that tie yarn on to front beam. -
Making weft. My shuttles are handmade (!) by my husband's grand father. -
Finally start weaving. It usually takes a whole day to make it ready to weave.
