We love this opener! Got them for our groomsmen at our wedding, and my husband couldn't live without one!

Wow! This is really, really beautiful! I am not sure what I was expecting, but it's better than I expected. Heavy, well made, solid - all important for my amazing, but can-break-anything husband :-) Thank you so much! You do great work. He's going to love it.

About

Metal with history.

My work day begins the way it began for blacksmiths centuries ago: I light the forge. While the forge heats up, I spend the first morning hours in a shopkeeper's ritual, putting things in order and gathering the day's projects.

Maybe it's a pair of wedding bands for a busy couple in British Columbia, and a set of bottle openers for their groomsmen. Or I'll finish a coat rack for a homeowner in California, combining reclaimed lumber with drifted steel.

Every object has a story to tell. Handmade objects just have more to say. Each piece that leaves my shop is layered with history, from the origins of the material to the seams of its transformation. The material tells me its story, and I tell mine, leaving my imprint with hammer and hand.

The story's complete when you finish it, by making the work your own.

Hello- All of the products you will find here are made through and through entirely by me. Sometimes I have to purchase supplies for my projects but I most often try to use recycled material whether it be steel or copper from scrap piles or old books and other paper from thrift stores. I enjoy creating and am continually moving towards refining my craft and following my curiosities.
I am open to accepting custom orders for books, jewelry and blades. Please don't hesitate to contact me about questions regarding my products, processes, and materials.
Thanks-
Lyle
