Hello fellow earthling, this is Charlie! I'm a creative jewelry designer residing in the picturesque Bollenstreek area of the Netherlands. This area is famous for the flowering tulips, hyacinths and daffodils in Spring, which is amazing (although my favorite season is Autumn!) I'm also a daughter, sister, partner and a mom since December 2022, my little ray of sunshine.
I became a jewelry designer after I finished my law degree: I had no idea that I loved creating and working with my hands instead of only using my brain and books. It all started with an old Dutch quarter I found (in my own year of birth) when I was moving; we already had the Euro back then, so it gave me a very nostalgic feeling. An idea was born: creating jewelry using our old coins and year-of-birth option. The international coins I collected during my backpack travels were next (with the idea of creating a collection for every country on our planet) and after that the postage stamps and pressed flowers joined my lovely business. This is how it all started, in 2014. Yes, it's 10 years later and I am still here. in fact, it's how I make a living.

I love to upcycle items, using materials that are both diverse and nostalgic, like coins, watch movements, postage stamps, pressed flowers, and more, each telling its own story of past and present. I love working with these materials, transforming them into wearable art and creating personal and thoughtful gifts. It allows me to connect with people, with you, on a personal level, creating unique pieces that hold special value.
