Hello and thank you for purchasing a handmade mamezara to fund Japanese relief efforts. As we've indicated elsewhere, every cent of each $50 purchase will go to GlobalGiving's Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund. HFJ has been so fortunate to have the production costs of the project underwritten by a generous benefactor so 100% of the sale will go directly to charity.

Accepted payment methods

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • Paypal
Returns and exchanges
Unfortunately, due to the nature of this one time mamezara sale, we are not accepting any exchanges or refunds. Please remember that these items were individually made and thus, are all different. Any slight variations were left that way in order to celebrate the handmade making process.

All items are insured for $50 so if damage occurs in shipping please contact us directly and we'll begin the claims process.
Payment
We accept Paypal and expect payment at the time of purchase. If you're having technical issues with Paypal, please contact us directly for other arrangements.
Shipping
The mamezaras will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a cardboard box labeled with the HFJ logo. We ship through the US Mail with delivery confirmation, unless you email us directly within 30 minutes of the order, in which case we can ship UPS or Fedex for an additional $5 charge.

Work will be shipped out within two business days, insured for $50 and should arrive within 2-5 business days.
Additional policies and FAQs
According to US tax law, we are not be able to provide you with a receipt for a tax deductible donation because an item of value was received in return. We thank you for your contribution to Handmade For Japan's efforts though and appreciate it very much!
