Where it all started...
Quando avevo sedici anni ho iniziato alla Sir John Cass school of art di Londra. Ho trascorso un anno imparando competenze chiave che mi avrebbero poi aiutato a trovare un apprendistato in argenteria. Ho iniziato a lavorare da Sarah Jones e presto sono stato assunto da The Goldsmiths Company per un apprendistato di cinque anni. Durante il mio apprendistato ho vinto una serie di concorsi di artigianato orafo e di design per il mio lavoro di argenteria e inseguimento. Quando avevo 21 anni ho finito il mio apprendistato con Sarah, ma ho continuato a lavorare lì fino all'età di 25 anni. A questo punto mi sono messo in proprio e mi sono trasferito a nord nel Lincolnshire, dove da allora produco la mia collezione di gioielli e argenteria.
When I was sixteen I started at the Sir John Cass school of art in London. I spent a year learning key skills which would then help me to go on to find an apprenticeship in silversmithing. I started working at Sarah Jones' and was soon indentured through The Goldsmiths Company on a five year apprenticeship. During my apprenticeship I won a number of goldsmiths craft and design council competitions for my silversmithing and chasing work. When I was 21 finished my apprenticeship with Sarah but carried on working there until I was 25. At this point I set out on my own and moved up north to Lincolnshire where I have been ever since producing my own collection of jewellery and silverware.
